Even newer cars and trucks dont have a cd slot. Adele just needs to fall off the map as her music is garbage
People need to get real about this "Vinyl resurgence". Here's a graph that should help:

People still buy CD's? If you do, I think it's time to move on.
Hard to believe people won't give physical media up.
I gave physical media up when my dvd then blu-ray collection filled up the 360 degree swivel stand it was on. That and digital movie quality was on the rise to the point where it was indistinguishable visually. And by that I mean you could only tell minute differences in quality when you froze a frame. Sound however is still better on blu-ray and it supports more formats. But this is a different topic for different forum.
However where the hell people fit all this physical media??? I was running out of space so I had to go iTunes Store digital since the befits outweighed the negatives in my case.
Apple doesn't even sell CD players in its stores.
You can hear the lossess quality on what speakers again? Where and what will you be listening this album on?
She's a big artist.
Yes, Adele. That's what Apple should do. Stock your CD in their stores when they're trying to push a brand new streaming music service while also in the middle of pushing everything up into iCloud.
I don't even remember the last time I bought a CD much less saw anyone else using one. It's 2015.
Must have missed that what did she do?
Rip your physical media to a NAS. I have multiple NAS setups.
Um...skeptical much? Sennheiser Momentum over ear headphones if you must know.
100% Agree!Lol at all the haters moaning about this. Personally I think it would've been quite a cool promotion, and no doubt if Apple accepted then the physical copies would come with a code for a digital version.
To everyone saying Adele has no talent or makes bad music, double lol.
Is that a prequel to Doctor Who?Adele who?

One word: lossless. That is something Apple can't (or won't) offer over a digital service (either iTunes or Apple Music). I never bought CD most of my life since I grew up in the era that the iTunes Store was invented, however in the last few months I have. CDs hit a spot after about a year on Amazon where you can pickup a used, like new, copy for under $8 shipped. Those are the Deluxe editions too, something I don't see from iTunes for under $9.99. As they move further out, they get ever cheaper. For instance, My December by Kelly Clarkson, $9.99 from iTunes. I paid $4.50 (shipped) for a brand new, sealed copy from Amazon.
The difference in audio quality is huge, particularly when you're listening over a fully digital set up. Even listening through 3.5mm jacks I can hear a difference because I have very keen ears that pickup a lot of frequencys.
