I was walking past there today and I saw the Apple hired goons roughing up a homeless person.

PS: Yes it did happen, if I had my phone I would have taken a video to counter the inevitable deniers.

I was walking past there today and I saw a unicorn eating a bowl of cereal.

I was walking past there today and I saw the Apple hired goons roughing up a homeless person. The funniest thing was when a cop arrived and he basically ignored the homeless guy (who was most likely mentally ill) and just seemed to be telling off the hired goons (going by the finger jabbing).

Stay classy Apple!

Not sure, but maybe Apple had to use the security personnel for that building. Maybe they aren't Apple goons. You're assuming what was said, your assuming who they were, you're assuming what the situation was.

You know what they say when people assume…

If it were me I would have offered that guy a beer. It's Friday. I'm out of work. He's been out of work for years. Let's have a few.

This is far too big an event for a routine iPhone mid cycle refresh. It looks like Apple is going all in on the TV as a flagship product category.

I think that Tim Cook will quickly run through the iPhone 6S refresh and new Watch straps and OS2, then move on to the iPad Pro as the next big step in the post PC era and finish with an hour long introduction and demonstration of TV.

I might add that given that this is a Siri centric event, we'll finally see Siri brought to the Mac in OS X El Capitan. Apple always holds back a flagship feature at the initial OS introduction at WWDC and announces it at the Fall event just before its release.

After Wednesday's event, Siri will be across the entire Apple ecosystem from iOS to Watch OS to TV to OS X.

I'm betting you're right! Spot on ipedro!!

ELI5 why do they hide the name of the person booking the setting, as if no one will find out and then advertise it like crazy and put posters everywhere. just announce that its you, we already know its happening.

There's a lot going on on this picture!
Is that Eddy Cue checking up on the workers?
What's that Heinz ketchup bottle doing on the right?
Why is there a wheelchair sign hanging next to the poster?
Will that ladder fit into that backpack once it's folded?

Answers on that - and more - will be exposed in 4 days 11 hours and 29 minutes

Isn't the general thinking that Apple uses a bigger auditorium because it expects more people? But to get more people it either has to invite more people or get a higher percentage of those invited to actually show up. So, have we heard of more people (from the usual tech journalism crowd) saying that this time they will go? Not that I am aware of. Have we heard of other people than the usual tech journalists being invited (like we had with the watch announcement(s))? Again, not that I am aware of?

Thus, how is Apple going to fill that room?

They'll fill it with product samples and probably layouts of homes, etc featuring Apple TV and homekit etc etc etc.

Don't loose sleep over the size. Plus it being "Bill Graham Auditorium" I wouldn't doubt at all that Apple Music will be featured using performances either during or after the keynote while product exhibition is going on.

There is so many products that need updating that maybe, maybe this is the mother of updates including but not mentioned much but Thunderbolt displays, Airport Express, new Mouse, touchpad, keyboards, AirPort Extreme, homekit accessories, who knows maybe even a wild card Car prototype...?!?!

Is that Eddy Cue checking up on the workers? No. It does not appear to be the aforementioned Sak's Fifth Avenue shirt.

What's that Heinz ketchup bottle doing on the right? Not ketchup. Looks to be a bottle of cleaning solution specifically designed to remove the stench of San Francisco homeless piss.

Why is there a wheelchair sign hanging next to the poster? It's always there; no need to panic. There is no forthcoming iLimp device.

Will that ladder fit into that backpack once it's folded? No. But he should be careful lest he suffer an ill fate of ladder fail.
