Lol, jesus... he ACTUALLY showed the exact rgb numbers... what part of "It's not really open to debate." made you think that HARD FACTS could be trumped by your unqualified opinion that your screen is "pretty good"?? lololol... *facepalm*

Hey buddy,

THE RGB is not the same all the way through (this is a gradation of color).
I don't even fracking have the same numbers than him despite taking my file FROM APPLE'S Web site.
Look at my numbers. Not the same. This is a borderline color that's close to deep indigo, ultramarine and navy.

So, you can facepalm yourself as much you like, do it till it hurts.

Wow, all this over a color?

If dozens of people openly decorating a giant building in a high-traffic area of a major city is considered a rumor then I'd like to contribute some exclusive leaks:
  • Late October: People will be decorating their homes with scary stuff.
  • November-December: People will be decorating their trees with ornaments and their lawns with inflatable Santas.
  • Before bringing out a birthday cake: Said cake will be decorated with frosting.
What part of "news and rumors you care about" did you miss? This is a news and rumors site. Not everything is a rumor here.

Seriously ................ ........... "IF" you had your phone, wow. IF only ..........

There's obviously some people here, who can afford iPhones and MAcs, who think homelessness is something to be mocked.

I just wanted to give people a little look into "how the sausage is made" with these sorts of events.

I think someone would have spotted that code within the El Cap beta by now... unless they already have and I missed it.

Siri is already built in to OSX El Capitan through Spotlight. It just doesn't work through a conversation. Voice recognition for Siri is done on Apple's servers so the feature could be in development without detection in the betas.

I might add that given that this is a Siri centric event, we'll finally see Siri brought to the Mac in OS X El Capitan. Apple always holds back a flagship feature at the initial OS introduction at WWDC and announces it at the Fall event just before its release.

Umm... I can't remember this ever happening. The only "software" features I can think of that were announced late were a) iOS and b) only for newly announced hardware (i.e. Siri for the 4S)

Someone with a better imagination than me please explain: For years I've read "Please give the Apple TV an App Store!" What's an example of an app that you'd find in this store (besides additional channels and movie/TV services)? Even with an upgraded processor the Apple TV wouldn't be good for much more than casual games, the types of which might be more suitable for a tablet. Seems to me that the novelty of big screen casual games would wear off quickly.

Apple logo on "security" ? now i've seen everything. Why would u care what they wore.. we're here for the event..

anyone would think the banners/decorations are enough...

Siri will do the entire keynote instead of Cook!

That will be a joke and a half...... :)

I'd rather have that! So far every event since Jobs passed has been a major disappointment, in terms of the presenters. I miss the one-man show Jobs would put on, Cook simply can't carry the whole show on his own and it shows with each keynote.

You're wrong...Cook is just different...stop being a Jobs fan boy.

Cook is every bit as impressive AND influential.

I was walking past there today and I saw the Apple hired goons roughing up a homeless person. The funniest thing was when a cop arrived and he basically ignored the homeless guy (who was most likely mentally ill) and just seemed to be telling off the hired goons (going by the finger jabbing).

Stay classy Apple!

PS: Yes it did happen, if I had my phone I would have taken a video to counter the inevitable deniers.

And this is why a proof is mandatory.. I don't believe it either. However, based on the security Apple does what it wants and tends to just "ignore" the law,, I wouldn't it put this past them.

I pledge allegiance to the flag...

Anyone would think the king is coming at high mast. Good flags though.. The Apple logo is flying high.
