I am proud of my posts and I don't hide them, unlike you !!!
Mr. 'Relentless Power' also named the 'hiding troll', Apple Funboy and Tim Crook's boot licker is getting angry !!!!!!

I have nothing to be angry at.

You mentioned you're proud of your posts. Which indicates you are proud of posting frivolous, cheap, sulky, comments. You have nothing to offer in terms of substance to the article or other posters, other than making comments you have zero knowledge on and it shows through your ignorance.

So alas, you put your back in a corner, which you continue to depict your petulant behavior. I guess you could say you're "Proud" of that.

Yes nothing was ever announced then late under Jobs. Especially not the white iPhone.

When Steve Jobs was around he always set a date and he delivered with no problems none of pushing dates back at all what was final was final and that was it

Steve jobs worked with Tim cook and he knew how he worked and how he did things so Tim Cook should be repeating what Steve job has done

Major fail Apple. Glad to see new MacBook Pros, but the Airpods release info was the only thing I really wanted to hear today. Way to not deliver TC

I share your view on looking forward to the Airpods. However, labeling this a 'Fail' is unfair. In fairness, we don't why Apple delayed the Airpods. It could have been for a multitude of reasons. That being said, it would have been deemed a failure if Apple delivered a product that didn't Meet safety or quality standards. If this means it takes somewhat longer to perfect these for the customer, then I applaud Apple to make sure these deliver with a solid experience, being these are a brand new product for Apple. Frustration, yes. Failure, no.

I'm pretty sure in the post Samsung QA world, Apple would rather risk being late than anything that could make the launch of a new product seem less than perfect.

I checked Apple's website. It now says "Coming Soon." My guess is in the next few weeks. I don't think they are far out from launching. Unsure of what the delay is.
[doublepost=1477639507][/doublepost]I'm not sure if anyone saw this or not, but during the Mac KeyNote, I observed a few members Of the audience wearing the Airpods. My Guess is members from tech review sites beta testing them.

I can't believe the reason for the delay hasn't been leaked by someone along the supply chain. They've really managed to keep a lid on whatever it is. Just goes to show how all the "leaks" of new products before the keynotes are probably not real leaks.

The Airpods may be a "small ticket" item, but are also most likely a high margin item. When you take the revenue from a single sale against the manufacturing, shipping, marketing and any other allocated costs for these, the net may be equal to selling a new iPhone.

I doubt that Apple has less interest in this product and that is partly the cause of this delay. In fact, I would probably lean toward Apple making sure that their "iconic" headphone image is not tainted by a rushed release.

Yes, the Airpods may be very profitable for Apple.

More important, it's also a gateway to the Siri and AI experience that Apple wants to have a solid foundation.

The pressure to have a presence in the AR world may also be a factor.

Caution with a controversial Bluetooth earpiece may mean getting it right when delivering.

We'll know by the end of the year.

The first white iPhone wasn't vital to the success of transitioning from one technology to another. It was a color option not available before -- not an improvement that made losing basic functionality acceptable for many for the first time.

Just hope they are here by December at least.

Hopefully long before December gets here. I'm thinking in a few weeks, before the Holidays are in full swing.

If you watch the MBP key note at 14:56 there is a guy wearing the Airpods

I mentioned this in a post above. The male in the audience wearing those is from Tech Crunch I believe. Likely beta testing them.

Sure hope so, badly want to get some. Starting to hate wires when working out now

You were never insulted. You were called out for posting garbage. Clearly you are struggling to understand this. Oh well, no sense in talking to a wall.

Not necessarily. Most of the iPhone leaks this year were fairly accurate to what was released today with the iPhone 7. As far as the Airpods are concerned, we don't know what the reason for the delay is. Apple never confirmed this. It could be supply, production, ect. Being secretive as Apple is, they will never specify why the delay either. None the less, disappointing they were not released on time.

I will say this, the delay builds even More hype for customers to want a pair who already planned on purchasing and when they do release, these will be backordered for months. I personally am keeping a close watch on the release date.

Or the 3ghz G5 or the G5 Powerbook... It happens.

Well that's what I'm saying, if Apple can keep the reason for the delay such a secret, then these leaks that we see prior to product launches are probably purposely done leaks approved by Apple. It's Mr. Blurrycam for a reason, lol. At least the last 2-3 years I've suspected the leaks weren't real security breaches, but we don't know.

Of course a failure to deliver when promised isn't as bad as a failure of the hardware itself. I'm just hopeful that "a little more time" isn't two months. It's not so much the delay that is frustrating as sliding the announcement in just before the Mac event and then totally ignoring it at the event itself. They made a BIG deal out of the AirPods in September. Not a peep last Thursday.

I was Hoping for an announcement last week at the KeyNote as well, however, another forum member mentioned Apple wouldn't likely mention the Airpods at the Mac event, being it would deflect from the purpose of the Mac. Hopefully they launch soon, before the holidays get here.

iOS update today. Maybe it has a fix in it for them, and that the problem was just a software glitch...I've heard some have had problems with Bluetooth on the 7 series. Maybe we will get lucky and that's all it is and they will release in the next week lol
