Dutch Apple Store as well. Still showing 24 hours for almost any model, but as soon as you select one shipping times become 3-5 days.

Where exactly did the 24th spawn from? Why not 22nd or 23rd as tuesday and wednesday have more common days for product launches of Apple's lately?

I laugh every time I see someone holding their breath for a Mac with Blue Ray. Blue Ray is a transitional technology. It's only purpose is to provide us with HD video until steaming becomes more mainstream. Apple will not invest valuable R&D into a such a transitional technology, especially one as expensive and unpopular as Blue Ray.
The same in the Spanish store. Only 3 days, only!

I highly doubt they would send you the updated version this time around if it lacked an optical drive for example. Anyone care to see if apple gives anything away by calling them?
