Exactly. there are two types who are crying about the WFH people. 1. Old dinosaurs who can't grasp the enitre concept. 2. Jealous people who never got a chance because they work at walmart, Mcdonalds or starbucks.
There are three types of people who are crying about going back to work in an office. 1) Those who think it's in the Bill of Rights that they can dictate to their employer how they want to work. 2) Those that are special snowflakes that think they are better than everyone else. 3) Those that look down on retail workers with their smug, superior attitudes, and that everyone should bow down to them for being so "highly skilled" and talented, and the world revolves around their wants.

Your post reeks of jealousy over people who have earned a job that can actually be done at home. No one was "given" anything or thinks they are better than everyone else. The truth is, while not all situations of WFH are effective, a very large number are more efficient working from home than going to the office. Retails workers and such don't have a choice. But you would begrudge people who can WFH from doing it?

that's what happens with these whiny types. They think because they don't have the skills or intelligence to get a work from home job, Nobody should be able to. To them, everyone should work a crappy job because they do. I punched my time at crap employment, now it's over. I work for myself and it's great not having "the man" breathing down your neck constantly in a cubical farm. Those are the worst. I am suprised more people don't throw their chair out the window and jump behind it working in a cubical. Talk about being a slave.

Whom are you talking about?

Sounds like a personal attack.
Karens always give off that entitlement vibe. They cry their crocodile tears about how the poor and downtrodden are being left behind and how someone should "do something about it" and then sit back in their comfy chair with their high speed internet and look down on those that don't have access to all they have. Sad really.

do people not see that if they get apple to bend a very important precedent will be set? remote is the future and studies have literally proved it to increase productivity, plus it is better for us workers to have a choice. we can be jealous of their cushy jobs under apple but this fight is a fight for workers, one that should be taking place in every major company. in-person collaboration being essential is a myth tied to old tradition. it's time to adapt.

Exactly. The sense of entitlement is breathtaking. And yet, you can smell their desperate fear.

It does speak volumes. It’s the most perfect single word description for this generation. It’s what they were told by their mommies (among other various falsehoods). It’s why they have such an incredible sense of self entitlement.

I'm quite jealous of people who can work from home. With my job, it's not possible.:( Still, if everyone who can WFH does so, it would make my commute a lot more bearable. Take a few hundred/thousand commuters off the street during rush hour and my commute stop being a soul drain, road rage inducing hell.;)
See, there are benefits to those of us who can't WFH for those who can, do. How about it, the What's-in-it-for-me crowd? How does a cutting your commute time in half sound?🤗
