We need a black card!
Maybe...perhaps apple is going with the "white is the new black" approach here)))
Maybe...
Yeah, like the iPhone XR.honestly i do hope that apple will refrain from dividing their card into tiers. it would be nice if they offered a variety of colors though, similar to the xr)
Yeah, like the iPhone XR.
No way am I gonna eat up a 5/24 with this. It’s a terrible financial move.
Gold seems too premium.right. but more color options) of course i would prefer to match it to my gold xs)) but i do like the white card.
Gold seems too premium.
I guess so.i think that's the appeal) especially when it comes to credit cards.
Samsung Pay uses MST (Magnetic Swipe Technology) that emulates swiping a card so it can be used anywhere and NFC, Apple Pay only uses NFC so the terminal has to support the new tech for it to work, that's why you're seeing they except Samsung Pay which they technically don't but since the terminal thinks you're swiping a card it worksSo does 5 Guys, at least where I live. Plenty of businesses that take Samsung Pay but not Apple Pay, which makes no sense to me because Apple Pay doesn't increase the merchant's swipe fees.
I guess so.
I’m lost on this Apple Card thing.
Can you explain what 5/24 is?
Other than the Apple factor, what makes this different than other credit cards?
I just cannot be excited about this. Benefits are way better with AmEx Plat.
You only have to be considered about 5/24 if you’re a churner. It means some banks won’t let you open more than 5 credit cards in a 24 month period.
Apple does not have most of that stuff. They don’t have your fingerprint, they don’t have your face map, they only have your email history if you use them for email, they don’t have your internet usage, they don’t have your spending etc. Most of that is not even on iCloud.
Can't wait to get hold of one just for the heck of it.

The original poster poster probably knows, but just being negative.
You shouldn’t ever use a credit card at an ATM, unless you love cash advance fees.Who users magstrips these days ? An't most all chip based now? or those use still prefer the ATM. I guess "cashless" would be good... Many ATM's allow this. and even this is better than a magstrip.
We'd get excited just to see a pudding roll down a hill as well.
Did we get info on benefits like warranty extension or anything?
5 Guys here has Chip & Apple Pay. Doesn’t help I don’t like their burgers thoughSo does 5 Guys, at least where I live. Plenty of businesses that take Samsung Pay but not Apple Pay, which makes no sense to me because Apple Pay doesn't increase the merchant's swipe fees.
iPods,
EarPods, AirPods, iPhone 5 (I think), iPhone 7 ... and now the CreditCard all released in white first.
It’s required by MasterCard. It’s the same reason why cards all from Europe etc all still have it even though they don’t use it *at all*Magstripe? Why on earth would you keep a magstripe on the card??
It's not only the credit risk. Merchants pay pay extra fees just from a customer using Amex, and the customer gets extra benefits from it too. Like, why? I'm glad people have been rejecting it so hard.
