That defeats the whole purpose of the design. Those “silly colors” are the activity rings.I'd take one with black circles instead of silly colors.

"I closed all my rings in 2020 and all I got was this lousy t-shirt."
The challenge only lasts a month.Apple's management team: Congrats! Here's your T-shirt.
Employees: Thanks, Boss!
- Thinks quietly while smiling that the design should've read "Closed all three of the Apple Watch Activity Rings every day of the month for the year and all I got was this lousy T-shirt".
- Also mumbles quietly 'No other bonuses!' and has a job.
- Sells T-shirt online and makes the bonus money from that.
I'm not an employee nor do I personally know any, but in reference to the material, I can say... It's certainly a great quality shirt. I don't have this one, but I have the "Close the Rings 1.0" shirt, which looks to be the same just with a different print design. Pretty good for a free shirt. So cute to see so many non-Apple employees complaining for Apple employees about benefits they don’t actually know about, t-shirt quality they’ve never touched, or the gratification of participating in a challenge they don’t get to participate in. You guys are precious. You know who isn’t complaining about any of these things?? Apple employees.
Actually... when they came out with this type of tee shirt in 2016ish, when I was there, they complained. So cute to see so many non-Apple employees complaining for Apple employees about benefits they don’t actually know about, t-shirt quality they’ve never touched, or the gratification of participating in a challenge they don’t get to participate in. I have many Apple shirts. Every one of them are excellent quality. The paper quality on the cards are nicer quality than the shirts other companies give their employees lol. No one is complaining. The challenge only lasts a month.

I'd love to buy some cards if you have them. I need the CYR 2017, CYR 2018, CYR 2019, and Mindful Minutes Blanket cards. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find someone with them, though.I have many Apple shirts. Every one of them are excellent quality. I can’t speak on the t-shirt quality in 2016. And if you worked for Apple then you know employees get a lot more than t-shirts for challenges and for health and wellness in general.Actually... when they came out with this type of tee shirt in 2016ish, when I was there, they complained.
the older employees who has been there longer grumbles. The newer employees that don’t know better are indifferent.
I did and I spoke to that.I can’t speak on the t-shirt quality in 2016. And if you worked for Apple then you know employees get a lot more than t-shirts for challenges and for health and wellness in general.
I save everything. I can’t sell them tho. I also save all my shirts after their wI'd love to buy some cards if you have them. I need the CYR 2017, CYR 2018, CYR 2019, and Mindful Minutes Blanket cards. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find someone with them, though.
They’re hard to find because employees aren’t supposed to sell them.I'd love to buy some cards if you have them. I need the CYR 2017, CYR 2018, CYR 2019, and Mindful Minutes Blanket cards. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find someone with them, though.
I don't know when it came out, but I have a blanket from one of these wellness challenges. Softest blanket I've ever felt.I can’t speak on the t-shirt quality in 2016. And if you worked for Apple then you know employees get a lot more than t-shirts for challenges and for health and wellness in general.
Yeah, they're not supposed to, but they still do. There are many listings of the Close Your Rings bands with the cards, just impossible to find the cards alone. At least share some pics!I save everything. I can’t sell them tho. I also save all my shirts after their w

“No one is complaining” wasn’t meant to be taken literally. Every company has complaints, and Apple isn’t perfect. Point is that employees are generally very happy and value their jobs. Some seem to miss things like thousands of employees sitting at home collecting paychecks for months. And they have no idea what other benefits they’ve gotten during COVID because they’re not supposed to know. This is why Apple keeps stuff like this a secret. If they gave everyone free MacBooks, the narrative would be that employees are spoiled at the cost of customers. They know it’s a lose-lose for them either way. Best to just treat employees as best as they can and not brag about it.I did and I spoke to that.
Doesn’t mean that employees didn’t complain.
I wasn’t one of them but then again I got a MacBook Pro tricked out at 25% off and then an additional $500 off of that. Watch for 50% off. $100 free towards commute expenses each month.
the list goes on but I also know tech companies that have personal chef on site.
Going to Apple campus is same except the price is heavily subsidized vs free.
I have that blanket. It’s so nice! Cover up with it every night on my couch lolI don't know when it came out, but I have a blanket from one of these wellness challenges. Softest blanket I've ever felt.
Actually I still know because I’m still friendly with some of the remaining employees.“No one is complaining” wasn’t meant to be taken literally. I just thought it was ‘cute’ how you were trying to put down but you aren’t speaking from a place (unless I’m mistaken) that would know. Could be you’re in a different area and work for Apple.
^ for all you know there could be employees but they’re just not identifying themselves as such.So cute to see so many non-Apple employees complaining for Apple employees about benefits they don’t actually know about, t-shirt quality they’ve never touched, or the gratification of participating in a challenge they don’t get to participate in. I think it’s pretty clear for any Apple employee to see that the vast majority of detractors in here are making wildly off-base assumptions from the outside looking in. Claiming that a t-shirt is the sum of support that Apple gives employees for health and wellness is just absurd. If any actual employees feel they don’t get enough in these areas, they need to reach out to Apple to learn about their benefits or try to find a company giving them more without cutting something out in other areas. That’s just my POV as someone who has worked for multiple large tech companies.^ for all you know there could be employees but they’re just not identifying themselves as such.
and I know you don’t mean literally all Apple employees but I never said you did. However they do complain. And I write this because I’ve been there, heard the complains and can tell you there are groups of this as well.
Mindful Minutes one with the breathe logo, right?I have that blanket. It’s so nice! Cover up with it every night on my couch lol
Actually what happens is just turnovers. There’s a reason they onboard the employees by the dozens every quarter.I think it’s pretty clear for any Apple employee to see that the vast majority of detractors in here are making wildly off-base assumptions from the outside looking in. That’s the one! Love it!Mindful Minutes one with the breathe logo, right?
In my experience, there’s much more upward mobility than turnovers. I haven’t seen another company with so many people who have been there for so many years in a job climate where people make more by changing jobs every 2 years. I haven’t seen so much company loyalty anywhere else.Actually what happens is just turnovers. There’s a reason they onboard the employees by the dozens every quarter.
if you ever look to sell it (Which I know Apple doesn't like) I know @BreatheNow has been looking for one forever. I was so lucky in finding mine for just $15 on eBay! It's so soft, but I'm so scared to actually use it knowing how much my cats like kneading my blankets. That’s the one! Love it!
