the lack of the bigger imac is gonna make the new mac mini purchase decision a whole lot more difficult.
I can't wait to see what is announced! I love the production value of Apple's events.
Wondering if the colors mean we might be getting the MacBook Air as well. Probably just iPads like he said in the video.

You're right. It could be a double play on the word, "Peek".My first thought was this is a peek of what we got planned for 2022. You ain’t seen nothing yet analogy. But it could mean something visual that you look at, and Apple’s delayed external displays badly need to be released for people that need them. I hope this is not just about the updated iPad and iPhone models updates.
Edit: Strike that. "Peek" and "Peak" are clearly two different words. Let's see how they use them.

Once again, excited as hell given this is the last year of the AS transition.
When these events finally get announced I always feel like a kid right before Christmas, waiting to see what's in the gift-wrapped box.
Hopefully, it won't be socks, a tie, or bedsheets.

a PEEK is probably better than a POKE with a sharp stick, or is that too BASIC?
Maybe „Peek“ refers to the rumor of Siri having accidently(?) leaked the impending presentation of a HomePod with display. Saw a video clip with Siri saying „I found an answer. It’s displayed on your HomePod.“

I think apple MUST release M2 chips now as intel is catching up fast. The M1 came out back in 2020 and they cannot cling on the M1 bandwagon for any longer. The latest intel 12th gen i7/i9 45watt laptop CPUs are already matching/exceeding m1 pro and m1 max in terms of CPU performance. It would be unfair if they still try to compare performance with Intel macs from 2019/2020.

The 'Peek' sounds like whatever is coming you are going to have a long wait for it.
peek performance suggests to me that we are going to get a look at Apples quad pro M1 plans, the release of the hardware rumoured, and most likely M2.
If performance is the main theme, then we may see some powerful macs… maybe a Mac mini with an M1 Pro and M1 Max? Or an even more powerful M1 Ultra Mac?
