The colors are missing the first color of the rainbow stage, green ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
While you're focused on colours, lol, I'm focusing on the reason why 'Peak Performance' is being used!!

I suspect Apple and Tim is gonna bring the Cool back in Mac!

Peak Performance leads me to believe the M2 cpu/gpu will once again surprise the industry: performance for watt is going to do more on performance with less heat, less power consumption etc.

Remember the original engineers at Arm Holdings, Inc when creating and testing the first RISC ARM cpu found that the cpu was running on residual power!

I’m having dejavú. Right before last year’s spring event they said we were not getting the iMac and they were wrong.

IMO they aren’t going to have a dedicated event just to spec bump all of their entry level devices, the budget iPhone SE and iPad Air. Don’t think I have ever seen that, ever.
Somehow I don't see an iPhone SE as something related to 'Peak Performance' as the events subject line is stated.

More like peak performance. It's all downhill from here...
Downhilll for Intel ;)

But it is not "peak", it is "peek"; most likely as in "sneak peek"...

Interesting. ‘Peak performance’ isn’t exactly what comes to mind when I think of the iPhone SE and iPad Air - I wonder what else they have in store.

Apple chooses their words carefully so it when I see Peek Performance

Peek = a quick and/or brief look

Performance = effectiveness / speed of a system

So a quick look at speed stuffy to come in the future? Sounds like announcements for future stuff we won't even be able to pre-order yet.

Thoughts?

Peak. Performance. Peak ... Performance. These are not mutually exclusive meanings/devices ;)

I hope we're both right on this.

Who can tell... peak performance could be the new Mac Pro... peek performance could be the M1 in a new Apple TV box to allow Apple to finally make a foray into the console market, or it could be the glasses. Or it could be a range of other things.

Looking forward to coming Tuesday.

My money is on a look at the next performance chips from Apple and the hardware using them......... given its about time to do this.

So here's the deal, fellas. It's gonna be towards the end of the show that they show off the new "performance" Macs and that means iMac Pro returns as well as a sneak peek at the upcoming Mac Pro that will release by the end of the year. M1 or even possibly M2 Max Duo/Quad setup for the Mac Pro or possibly a tower big enough for multiple Duo and or Quad stacks I mean we're talking by far the most powerful Mac ever made here. I could also see the iMac Pro getting an M1 Max that could be a Duo but I don't know how they'd fit a Quad but we'll see!

...And then, "One Last Thing" as Apple unveils a teaser trailer for the Apple AR glasses/headset.

Maybe it’s “Peek” because they’re just going to tease some stuff that isn’t due to be launched for a good while - as in “a sneak peek”?

Damn why that 13" MBP... why??? I just pulled out and used my 12" MB after a long time and dang... it's my favorite portable machine... whole different experience than the MBA-M1 (and certainly the 16" M1 Tank).
Becouse you are in extreme minority. Most people simply don't want a screen this small for their laptop.
