USB-C, hope that comes with increased transfer speeds. USB 2.0 speeds were a joke.
It's still a lightning cable. The speeds are the same whether I'm using a USB-A lighting cable or USB-C lightning cable on my XS. Maybe the 12 will be different, but I doubt it.

Certainly matters to me. Buying a Pro Max. I suspect millions of others will be doing the same.

The camera matters. The processor that means it’s IOS upgradable for 4 years or more matters, at least some. I doubt that I will buy one but I don’t see anything wrong with it either. Part of the problem may bbe that they have to get government approvals from around the world so people have figured out where to look to find out what is going to be released. It isn’t a big surprise anymore.

They should just let Craig present everything. He's the only one with any charisma or personality.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you and wonder if this spells disaster for Apple in the long-term. Companies will catch up, and when they do, Apple needs to innovate before they do.

I'm a little confused, didn't we add Apple Pay so we can do away with wallets? And you remove the charger but then conveniently add MagSafe as....another charging option that we have to buy accessories for to use? 2020 is a really weird year.
Not all stores use contactless payments. Also what about things like a drivers license or gym membership card?

Things I was looking for:

- 120 hz display
- Shift from lightning to USB-C charging like the rest of my devices
- Removal of notch
- Fingerprint sensor as FaceID is annoying with masks

Looks like none are there

It’s not too late to add “Pacific Blue” to that list and increase your hit rate to 20%... ;)

The prices are better than I expected. It will come down to the Pro or Pro Max for me, depending on which fits better in my pocket. I can definitely use the telephoto and improved low-light and image stabilization. Dolby video sounds great for pros, but it seems like overkill for taking videos of your granddaughter. 😀

You are right - he did the prayer hand thing at the end. I noticed that almost all of them have the exact same intonation in their voices - like they have been trained (indoctrinated) by the same trainers.

I noticed that too! It wouldn’t surprise me if Apple has in-house crew of multiple professionals ranging from actors/directors/voice-coaches etc to streamline this picture perfect presentation. Personally I don’t mind. It is what I love about Apple. What I don’t like though is the brainwashing-oneliners they use, like: “By far the fastest camera in the industry” “industry leading technology” etc. I’m a pretty down-to-earth person but after seeing this event I want a fricking iPhone 12 Pro LOL!

Agree - very stupid. So both are not real Pro’s then, only the Max is. Pro’s should have equal features. Dumb move Apple. Jobs would be embarrassed with all these different phones. Keep it simple!
Both are pros. The iPhone 12 pro max is able to get a bigger lens because of the extra size. It is what it is and they can come out and name it whatever they want. Go to the store and let them explain it to you or look online. Then make hour own decision on what you need. They are not going to make what you want no matter how much you want it.

Which iPhone do you have right now?

iPhone 10X. I've been making photos with iPhones since 2012. And exclusively for the last five years.

IMO the best out there. The best coverage. They used to be tailored for the business customer so their plans were a lot more expensive. I switched to Verizon before they became affordable for the standard consumer. AT&T, Sprint and T-Mo doesn't even come close.
I want to go to Verizon from ATT but Verizon told me all their plans only portray 720p. Att unlimited plan has it higher.
