The Apple Watch segment was the most amusing to me. Anyone notice the position of Jeff William's shadow kept changing? Seemed like it was in a different position every time they cut back to him. I couldn't stop laughing, lol. Was the poor guy there all day long recording multiple takes? Or bad footage for green screen editing?
Then they say the new Nike Sport Band will have a randomized pattern to make each band unique...yet all I could see was the same rendered/photoshopped pattern. Pick out a spec and you'll find it in the same place on all the bands. Might not be as obvious here, but I noticed it right away when sitting in front of my large TV.

Apple Wonderlacklust man this thing blew chunks and was so underwhelming. Releasing products just to release them and not even enough improvements. Big 👎 down. Still getting the 15PM though and holding onto my Ultra watch.

Well yeah, definitely renders or photoshopped. But if they're going to say they're random and unique, they should make them look random and unique...not copied and pasted.

Upgrading from 12 Pro Max to 14 Pro Max. Lived with the lightening for 12 years. Another few wouldn’t hurt. Wife gets the 12 Pro max. The only thing I really wish the 12 Pro Max had was the close up photography which 13 introduced. 14 Pro Max is a good compromise I feel like instead of spending $1300 with tax unless anyone thinks base 15 Plus is a better bet than 14 Pro Max?

I'm trying to cut myself out of cloud and need to look into local sync options for photos/video. I have a 45TB server at home with redundancy that I use for Plex along with Time Machine and some other duties. Just need something to sync back photos and videos to it vs the cloud.
They pull an accessibility feature behind a hardware upgrade paywall, and then spend five minutes yelling at themselves very confrontationally about how carbon neutral they are.
Oh man!!! Apple is getting oooooooold. All the people in the WWDC videos presenting Apple stuff are old - the only people that look young and healthy are in the videos and photos taken with the new devices. Did anyone but me notice this?

The only innovation I saw at the event I watched today was how Apple transport more products in a cheaper way and will make more profit from this, and they call it 'Carbon Neutral'.

I’ve been an iPhone user for years and I’ve had 8 phones since the iPhone 4 first came to Verizon. I think Apple has lost its lust and this might be the year I switch to galaxy s24 ultra. iPhone stuck on 60hz screens when android has 120hz on the mid level phones. The 5x zoom is a let down and the dynamic island on my 14PM is just about useless. Nothing new or exciting anymore and it’s been the same phone essentially since iPhone 10

Well, they lied about trade-in value. It’s $580 for a 13PM. You mean the 14PM is worth $420 more than the 13PM? Which device gives a $1000 in trade value?
Ready to go Friday AM. Coming from a XS regular, this is a big upgrade for me. I already bought 2 Otterbox cases from the Apple website. I had a great time watching the event. I tend to adopt new things if applicable, so the Action button can be useful in my workflow and/or outside work. Additionally, I really like that White Titanium. Color cases are the way to go.You?
iphone 14PRO MAX where did it go? no longer available? guess I'll hold on to mine for awhile now.
Apple has lost its touch, im sorry but it’s true, the screen on the pro is the same, the charging speed even on the pro isn’t higher and not seeing any wow they spend half the keynote not even talking about the products

1 - Is the satellite roadside assistance feature included with AAA membership, or with the phone for two years? It's either contradictory or misleading, or both?
2 - I don't see any watch bands I'd want? Why are they all.. ugly as sin? I get it, ditching leather to pretend like you're being environmentally conscious while manufacturing most all your stuff in one of the largest polluting countries on the planet.. and making all the things harder to repair and all of it non-upgradable.. cool.. cool... totally environmentally friendly.. suuuuuurrrrreeee... but, why do all the non-leather watch bands have to look so ... crappy??? Hopefully a third party steps up. Or, they look a hell of a lot better in person???
