After watching the event, I was leaning towards skipping the 15PM and instead upgrading my 12PM to a 14PM at hopefully a discounted price, but have noticed 14PM is not in the Apple Store anymore.
May still be available in the refurb section?

Fair, but what does this post of yours or mine now replying to it add to the conversation either?Funny reading all the race-to-the-bottom comments.
It's like who can muster up the biggest eye-roll.
Year after year after year.
When I took a quick look at the video, everything seemed old and rotten. You could have taken the same videos from last year or even the year before last. Apple has clearly faltered and run out of ideas. Remember the energy of Jobs, when he entered the stage? Oh Apple, what have those bean counters done to you? Most of them are middle aged. With age does not necessarily come wisdom. But youth certainly doesn't have any either. You need adults in charge or you get something like Google's ADHD. We need more adults in charge and less of this "move fast and break things" mentality.
However they certainly are out of touch.
Yes! And what about promised color matched iPhone cable included in the box? So much false information, this is unacceptable. Well respected and well informed Ming guy and Gurman my @ss.They also said the Apple Watch would be redesigned and have new straps with new attachment systems.
My battery died yesterday on a 5 year old phone , so count me in that camp.I'm guessing at least 80% of the whiners here, including myself, will order something regardless.
Most already use iPhones, because that is the correct fashion for 2023.Serious question... are any pro videographers actually using or even contemplating switching to iPhones?
The "We're super excited" line is getting so old. But seriously, if you work at a tech company, literally every meeting with the product managers ends with "I'm super excited". It's a lazy and disingenuous attempt at creating alignment and camaraderie from people who care too much about what other people think.Watching these "events" feels like watching an airline pre-flight security instruction videos for the hundreth time. Always the same 25%-faster-spec-bumps, identical stupid, scripted hand gestures, identical perfect diversity, identical "super excited to [fill ********]", identical face expressions. They could replace each and every person in the 90 minutes with a robot and it wouldn't change a thing.
God, I miss Steve and his real events, which had charisma.

I could be that Apple is playing Mark Gurman by covertly providing him with inaccurate information with the ultimate goal to diminish his credibility and subsequently destroy his reputation. Apple PsyOp FTW! Would be kinda badass tbh. LOL.Yes! And what about promised color matched iPhone cable included in the box? So much false information, this is unacceptable. I'm thinking about a 15 or 15 pro because of 5G and USB-C. But there's no need or rush as my 11pro is still perfect and I'm waiting for the price to drop - and some reviews.I'm guessing at least 80% of the whiners here, including myself, will order something regardless.

This presentation is a pain to watch. 10 minutes about a titanium frame? That is so poor
You can get $1000 trade in for the 13PM if you do it through a carrier. T-Mobile is offering $1000, which I'll be jumping on for that price. That's basically what I paid for it new 2 years ago. For basically $5/mo, I'll gladly take a new 15PM.Well, they lied about trade-in value. It’s $580 for a 13PM. You mean the 14PM is worth $420 more than the 13PM? Which device gives a $1000 in trade value?
Correct, but the $1,000 in credits is spread out over 36 months (which isn't a big deal if you plan on keeping your phone at least that long). You can get $1000 trade in for the 13PM if you do it through a carrier. *EDIT* - CarAnalogy beat me to the same response.
T-Mobile is 24 months. I think AT&T might be 36. I'm on T-Mobile, and I keep mine for two years, so it works out well for me.Correct, but the $1,000 in credits is spread out over 36 months (which isn't a big deal if you plan on keeping your phone at least that long).
I had most models since day 1, but there were certain incremental updates that I skipped, like the 3GSYah - I have an Ultra - it's been good. Double bright display on Ultra 2 - I'll do that. Also will get new Pro Max. Been upgrading every year since the beginning of iPhone - no reason to stop doing that, and maybe it's enriched my life considering I do spend $1500 per year just for cell phone service.
The old joke is - I use my iPhone nearly every day!
One more thing... NATURE!!!One More Thing. Not happening today!
