Great show. Did they all run abt an hr / half? Huh, anyways, Timmy was the least annoying he’s ever been. Good guy seemingly, just a small doses style for me at least during presentations. One on one or in group he might be completely different more toned down. I know jobs was known as laid back type but maybe at core he was, given the Cali roots and all (right?). Maybe that laid back calm (dare I say zen) style of timmy cookie is what jobs really enjoyed and why he named him successor….

This is the first time I’ve not had some kind of desire to upgrade. Not even a tiny itch. Getting the 15 Pro Max and S9 last year looks like a really good choice now. They are both great devices of course I just mean the 16/S10 seem like a very minor revision. To be fair there hasn’t been many major updates for years now but this event really takes the cake for most underwhelming and disappointing new iPhone/Watch. They almost feel like the same devices with small changes so they can say it’s new. It’s as if Apple isn’t even trying or they have run out of ideas.

IDK…

4k/120 frames per second w a damn iPhone is amazing. Plus that nice glossier side finish and bigger screen as well as the super sleek camera button and stronger front glass.. I mean idk. The jump from 14 pro max is going to be massive personally, not to mention spatial video capture probably betta quality then 15 line…

I am not sure if the Apple Watch Ultra models have been selling well. I am thinking we might not see an Ultra 3 and they might tell folks to go to Apple Watch 10 in titanium instead
Will not happen for me until they have the same features of the Ultra and the same battery. I will NEVER go back to the normal watch as it is currently designed.

Lol, you noticed too! That’s 5 years of Apple R&D into AirPods Max to come up with new colors and usb c.

So 5 years old tech being sold at the same price sounds like criminal behavior to me.
So what would you like them to do or add, there is only so much you can do with sound?

what the hell was with the AirPods Max, just new colours and USB-C after 5 years!!
As much as I would also like an upgrade (I use mine 8-10 hours a day and have been through three of them), what would be a massive improvement with a new generation one? Is there a specific major issue with the current gen that people want fixed? In my opinion, they already sound way better then "the best headphones ever" Airpods Pro 2.

I will probably get a new pair of these, for USB-C and just having two pairs is good with how much I wear them.

I use to get ragged on here for liking iJustine but she is an OG Youtuber and you have to love the passion she displays for Apple even when they have a miss on their hands lol.
Her reactions and passion amongst many is why we are fed these scraps Apple calls innovation and updates lol so yes getting ragged on was deserved.

Apple Intelligence is a gamechanger that requires modern iPhones. AI is only going to increase in capability and this too will require you to buy newer iPhones to be able to take advantage of it.
Seriously this is the problem with the tech industry these days. Why is AI LLMs a "gamechanger". What exactly is game changing about this? This whole AI craze is just insane to me and in my opinion needs to just stop. I am tired of it being shoved in my face with EVERY....SINGLE....PRODUCT....

The only thing what’s keeping AI away from older iPhones is the lack of sufficient RAM. This is planned obsolescence by Timmy because he knows the iPhone 16 hasn’t compelling possibilities for upgrading.

This planned obsolescence is greediness at its finest. Even the 16 pro with a meager 8 gb ram will probably not be able use the new features iOS 19, 20 has to offer.

If Apple offers Pro in the name, make it have the capability of a pro.

If the regular iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus only have 6GB, that gives the Pro Max models a bit more breathing room in terms of future requirements. If they are all 8GB, yes, it could mean we'll be getting cutoff from new AI features in the not-too-distant future. I upgrade every year though so it's not a problem for me.

Apart from the “innovative” action button and a “mind blowing” 15% speed increase, you’ll get the same functionality on your 15 Pro. If I were you, don’t give that money to Timmy. I hope more people won’t spend on Timmy. The less people buy, the harder the pressure for Apple to deliver more value for money.
Yeah...I think this will be the first time in like 7 years that I don't upgrade my phone.
