I saw a review yesterday for a 25" (that's not a typo) tablet, so I'm thinking small is going to have a hard time making a comeback, sadly. There are no small phones (IMO)

This is a hardware event. This is it?? Where is the iOS and macOS 26?...😕
I thought it was me. Had to lower the volume to 20% during the commercial cutsThe sound mixing team is so bad in this presentation.
The Apple store info says it's 8x optical. What am I missing.Modem this
Wireless that
Aluminium, Vapor Chamber
This is stuff that nobody cares about lol. Once you strip the conference out of these technical details, you remain with a brick that doesn't do anything new. Just gimmicks, like last year's camera button. Was enthusiastic on that 8x zoom, then I realized it's digital lol
Smartphones are exempted from tariffs.Amazed prices start the same, but I guess they can absorb some tariff costs due their huge profit margins.
They did spend all that money on their very own private venue, so that they could have more control over the narrative... and then Covid had to come along and force everybody to rethink things, ultimately giving corporations an excuse to save money by never ever doing any product announcements in person. Because, ya know... the complete control over a pre-recorded release video is apparently worth more than all they spent on that theatre.Yeap, they have NO excuse not to use the Steve Jobs theatre for their product launches ...
A lot of people like orange. I think the original orange candy colored iMac was 2nd or 3rd most popular. I still have mine!Orange? Phrasing "by a lot"... LOL
I suspect this will go the way of the iPhone miniI do like the Air. I'm not upgrading this year, but I'll be curious to see where they take that in the next couple years, if anywhere at all.

So what's the use case to buy the Air instead of the Pro when the price difference is only $100? Just if you want a thin iPhone?
So funny hearing the way they describe the Pro vs. the Air. You only need one camera! You need three cameras! Titanium is so strong! Forget titanium, aluminum is better for thermals!
Larger screen as well, and more light-weight.So what's the use case to buy the Air instead of the Pro when the price difference is only $100? Just if you want a thin iPhone?
That's a possibility. They might have built it as one-half of their upcoming folding phone to see how well the "thin" setup does with cameras, battery life, heat, etc.I suspect this will go the way of the iPhone mini
Has the same battery life per Apple specs on their website as iPhone 16 pro. 27 hours video playbackIt has rubbish battery.
Marco Island is slow now until November if that helpsNah, gotta fly to Miami Beach to show off landscape upright features.
