We’ll see how long Trump is able to reject it. He’s too narcissistic.
I'm waiting for my favorite comedy show to resume. I'm sure Trump has signed away his life to Truth Social, but ... it's 3am, I've eaten my McDonalds takeout, drinking my Diet Coke, my adderall has kicked in... I seem to be unbanned on Twitter, and oh hey, I've got close to 100 million followers...
Hmmm... Lemme just share a few thoughts.
Let the good times roll!
Same question. What “media” are you referring to? It isn’t a monumental thing. The media spectrum is most certainly not composed exclusively of agencies that are in the business of lying.
Actually, for the most part, yes it is. You've placed "media" in quotes, which is quite apt, a better word would be: propaganda. Do the participants understand what they're doing? I'd say most probably do not, they're useful idiots comprised of individuals who couldn't understand a paper in a peer-reviewed journal if their lives depended on it.
Is this junk science, pseudo-science, random garbage written with an agenda to obtain low-hanging fruit via grants, or is it, ya know, actually science?
Not saying the conservative side is any less insane.
Left: "My body my choice!" on the topic of abortion. Sure, agree 100%.
Right: "My body my choice!" on the topic of being forced to participate in experimental gene therapy from a Pharma co that seems to have become the state and no longer has to bother with clinical trials for molecules with extraordinarily low or non-existent efficacy and a plethora of potential side effects.
Please. Liberal media, conservative media. They’ve all got agendas which means misinformation abounds, like I said in an earlier post.
The "left" and "right" which have been weaponized against one another, to the point where I personally believe the US is divided beyond the point of repair. There is not going to be any grand understanding and coming together of divergent narratives.
It's... not going to end well. National Divorce, Confederacy of States, whatever name or shape it takes, things are breaking and falling apart.
Which is the whole point. Keep fighting over nonsense, focus on the magical picture show, and don't pay attention to what's actually happening with "your" country and planet Earth.
Anyhoo, whenever one of these endless threads kicks off on a site I used to participate in for Apple-focused content, I often wonder how Steve Jobs would fare in the idiocracy that the US has become. He was quite brilliant and I have nothing but respect for his accomplishments, but he was also a grown man who would throw tantrums and cry in public when he didn't get his way, and call an auditorium of his employees "f-----g idiots" when they failed to meet his expectations (MobileMe rollout, followed by the glorious Ping!). Perhaps Elon attended some of Steve's "how to handle your employees" motivational seminars.
Piece, Apocalypse Whenever.
