….yup! It’s only a matter of time apple takes Twitter off of the App Store. Apple should just launch their own social media platform. Imagine an Apple branded social media platform that integrates iMessage when communicating with friends/followers, See what fun events are happening (in real time) via Apple Maps integration, see REAL news via Apple News , Group FaceTime live streaming, sharing your Apple watch fitness calories, live Apple TV+ SharePlay features, seeing what your followers are listening to on Apple Music and Apple Podcasts, iCloud automatically backups all tagged photos with machine learning that’ll save all photos just in case you get cancelled and page deleted😂, see what your friends are playing and play with them via Apple Arcade, shopping via Apple Pay on their social media ( similar to Facebook marketplace, allowing (some) people to see what’s going on nearby via Find My Friends and etc. and all of this would happen without your data being sold. They could solve the biggest problem with social media. But unfortunately this would never happen.
Completely agree. Somebody wrote a handbook on how to accomplish just that...

Twitter is not a publicly funded company. Saying it again and again doesn’t make it true.
I wouldn’t be shocked if ppl wanted it to happen. But me? I could care less. Never made a Twitter and barely know what it looks like. But I can see a scenario where if Twitter starts to allow hate speech? Apple will take them off of the App Store like they did last year with other social media platforms. That wouldn’t shock me.
Wouldn’t shock me either. This is the same Apple that has banned Pepe the frog from appearing in an app, as it’s a ‘hate symbol’ according to Apple

Intolerance to opposite opinion inevitably leads to justifying the silencing and censorship and demonization of said opposite opinion, and then from there acceptance of violence towards those with opposite opinion because that opinion has been deemed “hurtful and hateful.” This was the whole reason Elon reinstated Trump and Kathy Griffin. People can whine and moan about Twitter and Elon all they want. Nobody is stopping anyone from leaving.
