It’s not vague at all. A charger and a cable are two separate things, and the photo clearly shows a charger sans cable.
Hate to break it to you, but this was already confirmed by the hundreds of people who already said this and/or posted unboxing videos of their Series 6 Watches.

Exactly. ALL DEVICES WILL STILL INCLUDE CHARGERS... but not wall adapters!
Any other implication is misleading.
Reasonable people are going to care more about the new magnetic wireless charging options.
Edit: I forgot that these phones were coming with USB-C to Lightning cables. A lot of people don't have extra (if any) USB-C power adapters. On top of that, the MagSafe charger doesn't come with a power adapter. So, people will be buying more adapters. Which puts a hole in Apple's "for the environment" b.s.

Ah, that's not so bad. I was freaking out that they wouldn't ship watches or phones with cables. Shipping without a charger is absolutely fine imo.

The charger is missing. I don’t know anyone familiar with technology who calls the USB cable the “charger.”
Do Android users not have USB-A or USB-C jacks, or Qi chargers? I haven't used a silly 5w charger for years, simply because there are faster/better options...

Just because you might not doesn’t mean most don‘t. And of course Apple isn’t going to reduce the price of the phone because it would just shine a bright light on how overpriced these things are as stand alone accessories.

Admitedly we atbone point had around 12 spare charging blocks and cables for lightening connections. However we have zero usb-C chargers or anything above 15w.
By removing the charger the savings go to Apple, not the customer as it should be...

Yes its good for green, its not causing more ewaste. But the iPhone 11 pro was the first iPhone that included the new USB C Brick, any iPhone before then was the 5W brick.
So if you upgrade every 2-3 cycles you don't have an abundance of these chargers like they say. I have an abundance of the 5W USB ones but those won't work with the cable that is gonna come with the iPhone this year. Sure lets get rid of it soon but not yet, especially when apple just started shipping the USB C bricks last year with the iPhone.
