I wear 1.5X readers from Walgreens. You can get readers as a prescription also. My concern is if I say I need readers and at the end they ask for a prescription which I don't have they may not let me place the order. I may just say none and order them later or try to get from the Apple store. If you have a doctor's prescription for your eyes, take a look at the Add field and add it to your prescription. For instance, if your prescription in one eye is -1.50 and your Add is +2.75, then your READER prescription for that eye is +1.25. Do that calculation for both eyes. You shouldn't need a prescription since you can buy reader glasses from any grocery store or pharmacy, but if you have one, it's easy to figure it out.
I wonder if you can buy both since I normally wear progressive lenses?
