Apple Expo Paris Booth

Please don’t flame me …but hear are my thoughts on the Paris Expo

Steve is not giving a Keynote because the media coverage in the past has been very little and there was not much support in France because it was in English not French. Also I think Steve wants to get away from keynoting at every Apple event.

Let’s remember Steve did say there would be more great G5 products this year during the Keynote anouncing the Intel switch. People saying that Apple would be wasting there time with developing new PB or PM with the Intel switch are missing a key point here – all products take time to develop, so PB and PM products would have benin various stages of development prior to the Intel announcement. Would Apple just drop these or continue? I say continue as they have shareholders to satisfy and non-computer growth is something that investors are looking at. Sure we have iPod revenue growth, but overall company growth could be stronger with new computer hardware also.

So, there will be something, and this may be last PPC updates before the Intel switch – probably only speed bumps, not sure a design change would be justifiable, although I would love to get a ‘this is the last PPC model in a new shell’ as a farewell gesture to the PPC – limited edition, really cool!

And a horrible thought, no Steve-note as he is starting to phase out his role at Apple (MWSF his last address?) as he focuses on Pixar and the a newly created executive position at Disney under their new management, and heads the soon to be spun off Apple iPod group…..oooooh noooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

And you click your heals together to change tracks, pivot on your toes to the left to decrease volume and right to increase volume (kind of like Swan lake really) and there is a little screen on the top of your toes to display the album art.

I want two, one for each foot!

I was being sarcastic! :D I never visit the US Store as I am in Japan and was just surprised to see it!

It seems Apple is selling everything except updated computers!

Oh, well, I guess we will need an ugboot version for the cold of winter in NZ.

Kate Spade iPod Case has been replaced, with the Kate Moss iPod Case.
It holds an iPod Nano or can double as a Kate Moss Lunch box which holds three Wheat Thins.
And don't forget the Special pocket inside, where she keeps her nose powder.
