Person A (an evangelist): God exists, irregardless of those that say otherwise, because I say so!
Person B (somebody that will be left behind in the Rapture or whatever): ...(well, I'm sure this evangelist must be claiming to see the "light of God" as they like to say, though he may be totally blind to the exact meaning of words, which of course is not a sin - otherwise you can't read any holy texts)...

What you be sayin bout my Father?

Just so nobody gets any ideas - no discrimination meant here.

wonderin' ...

iJust had a thought... What if today's event is to announce one of two things...

OSX on the Nintendo Revolution

or

The Entire Beatles Catalog on iTunes with a Beatles Special Edition iPod.

Just 45 minutes to go...

I hope the new mac mini will come with an hypermemory card from ATI or an turbocache card from nvidia. Something like this:

XFX_Geforce_7300GS_TurboCache_256MB_DDR2_PCI-E_DVI_TV-OUT.jpeg

Up to 256mb over turbocache,
TV-in
HDTV-out
only £50

simply ideal for a media center.

see

You forgot the "and a pony."

I'm totally with you, I'd love a media center mini with the remote and Front Row but it seems Apple isn't quite getting there yet for whatever foot-shooting reason. I do have to add the video card you showed wouldn't fit in the current mini form factor without adding an inch to it's height.

I've been around intelligent and highly educated people who use both regardless/irregardless. They probably have more important things to worry about.

regardless is fine.. and i never said intelligent.. i said well educated in language..

i know rocket scientists that have a hard time putting together a coherent sentence.

Most people educated to a level that allows them to understand the etymology of words should recognise that language is not a precise tool and that meaning is dependent on context and the relationship between the user and the recipient. Therefore if a word is used and the recipient understands the meaning of the user then the word is valid and well used.

Edit: An individual's level of education in language can be measured in their ability to converse with others coming from differing etymological environments.

Didn't think my comment would derail the thread. The word just annoys me that's all and I wanted to help the dude out.

Anyway, what is so special about the SOHO store? Do they broadcast media events there live?

It just might be IE/Windows, but the hardware page on apple.com is reporting an error.

It's working for me, so I guess its IE/Win.

Also, iLounge is reporting that there's no banners or anything...kinda strange. Also, they say there's a extremely limited attendance...

My crappy win2k work machine loads the hardware page fine.

It's been snowing on and off here in Nottingham... It's quite sunny though...

Dude!! Another Nottingham guy! Tell me about the snow - I spent 45 minutes waiting outside in the cold for a taxi that was meant to get there in 5.
