Apple Finally Catches Up with iPad 2 Demand

Good timing

I am glad that people who have been trying to obtain the iPad2 will be able to finally get one without a long delay. This is hopefully going to drive sales for back to school that is going to begin shortly.

It's the "Year of iPad 1" video.

It was on the Apple website and was shown at the Apple keynote. Seriously watch it. Then ask yourself - Is the iPad as terrible as you think? That video really makes you think and just be amazed that a product one year old has touched so many lives in a good way.

Erm, you realise that Halliburton or Raytheon could have made the same 'feel-good' video about security services or munitions, right?

The iPad isn't a device designed for the outdoors sadly... The kindle will always have a market till that changes. What happened to that hybrid e-Ink/LCD rumor? Sounds like a possible solution to me.

Edit: Now I could have sworn my post was on the same page as the quote originally... Censor-mods again?...

I waited over a month for mine, but it was well worth it.

Yes, I think we'll see sales quite a spike for back to school.

Even Adobe is releasing HTML5 authoring tools that convert flash to HTML 5 (it may already have been released). They know flash is old technology and it's days are numbered. After Adobe bought out Macromedia they let flash stagnate.

Yes. And people in the past have. I've seen a lot of wartime propaganda. But my point is at least some folk really think the ipad is amazing. And I'm sure the people in this Apple video are not paid shills. They actually believe in the product.

And also people could make videos saying all the bad points and evils associated with security and munitions. And people have. But has anyone made a video going over all the bad points and evils of the ipad? I have not seen once. But if you have please post the link so we can all watch it.

So if you call this video propaganda, sure but I'd like to see you prove that it's just advertising and not based in reality. I can't do this. And until you or someone can, I'm going to call that Apple video a little glimpse of amazing.

If i knew this i would have held off buying my ipad 2 last month.

I can understand products like an iphone, or ipad 2, or even macbooks to take 3 of 4 weeks shipping, after launch, roughy speaking, give or take a few months or more. But why headphones ?

I mean. I was kind of scratching my head that Apple earbuds took 2 weeks to ship ? Are u kidding me ? Apple always has these readily available in stock. I bought heaps from them before and they all shipped in 24 hours.... So i expected the same. Its not like its something that just came out this year... Apple earbuds have been available for a while..

just because i needed some more apple earbuds, I decided to pay extra from DSE, but got them only a few days later shipping.

i live in an area without any apple freaks it seems. i randomly walked in a store on the day of the iphone 4 release and grabbed one while others with preorderes waited over a month. thesame happened with the ipad 2. i went to a store and they had lots of boxes left on the shelf

So consumers have CHOICE. If you have the $ and need a High Res Display you have the option to purchase one. Many will purchase this product, as well as the Std. Display.

Everyone will be happy. iPad 3 can't come till LTE has it's sh** together. Look for the LTE version of the iPhone and iPad around the same time, roughly, very roughly.

Is it really so tough for people to understand this? We live in a Capitalist Country. The gap between those who have and have not is among the highest in the world currently.

Those "with" get a High Res Display and "other" goodies. Those without the means to fork over copious amounts of extra cash can still own an EXTREMELY nice Tablet with a lower Res running the best Mobile OS on the market.

People piss and moan about Apple , yet Apple's products keep increasing in sales with no end in site (3rd Q may drop a tad).

People will pay for the Apple Eco System. It's like (for those in good health) eating a big bowl of Mashed Potatoes with Grandma's Home Made Gravy.

It's really very simple. :apple:

You sure created a storm. My wife and I love our iPads. We surf the Internet a lot and don't miss flash content. But there is more to the iPad than the Internet. We use it for games, writing letters, email, remote controlling iTunes for airplay, showing friends new photos, watching Netflix.....

Kudos to you for asking for what others perceive as an easy answer (it actually is but let me help you). About 30 million people found a reason for iPad2 alone, many already owners of the original iPad, and that reason is that they don't think it sucks.

However, you might be thinking that they are fan boys, or perhaps they are too stupid to realize it sucks and bought it yet again!?

How mysterious?! How complexing for you?! Perhaps a stretch for you to "humbly" understand! Fear not, as I have the answer: no, they might actually like it, find it useful in fact. See something that *gasp*, you don't!

Or the short answer: Your opinion is worthless.

BTW, consider activities that don't require critical judgement: don't trade stocks, don't drive a car, and keep your opinion to yourself if there are any risks what so ever. This may help you save face and be more "humble".

majority can be wrong

but the iPad would be a jem without the glare and being lighter, no doubt about it

Maybe time to get back on subject or at least let's bash some other tablets! LOL!

No really.... good to see Apple caught up... I wonder what their daily production rate is? If the iPad HD rumor is true, it's going to be a killer holiday season for them. I hope there's a iPod Touch with Retina too. :)

Lack of flash on the iPad is the most overrated, worthless, complaint about iPad, period.

I can't think of one site, worth visiting, that relies on the use of flash. Remember, I said "worth visiting"...I realize there are a bunch of sites that still use flash, but very few are worth your time.

Do it. I exchanged mine yesterday and the genius gave me a brand new 32gb white iPad 2 with zero light bleeding. Well worth the minimal effort it took for me to make the genius bar appt and exchange. He looked at my original iPad 2, which was bought in March, and exchanged it within two minutes with no questions asked.

Why would anyone have an Apple product engraved? It kills resale value and seems like a rather frivilous thing to have done to a tech product.:confused:
