Who is you guys?

Most people that switch to an Android phone. They get this behaviour like they need to convince themself that switching was the right thing to do and they need to do it over and over again. Thats lame, pathetic. Ha ha ha ha...

Congrats on your new purchase. Long live Choice and manufacturers that give the consumer more than one option of phone.

Please enlighten us how that is a bad thing.

You never held this thing in your pocket, you never held it in your hand, you never used it, you never carried it around for hours, you never had it with you for a couple of days and you know it better than me. An EXPERIENCED iphone user for YEARS that recently switch to android. In fact I was one of the first people that recognized ios as a serious gaming platform.

The iphone feels chubby, cramped and old in comparison to this phone. But its amazing that you know it better than me, a guy that has both devices.
Thanks for completely missing the point altogether. You specifically said that the One S was smaller than the iPhone yet posted picture proof of the exact opposite. Therefore I cannot take a word you say as serious.

I'm not going to read through all of this arguing, but I just want to say that a 1-year phone cycle is anything but dumb. Why would you want a faster one like HTC has? You as a consumer feel isolated months after you buy the 'latest and greatest' because they come out with a new one instantly. There are too many choices, this confuses most people. A longer phone cycle means a more quality product (I am NOT saying HTC's phones are bad) and a chance for the consumer to be more ready to make the next step.

OP has a track record of "bragging" about why he was "forced" to pick up an Android tablet or phone, and he has no real arguments for making the switch, other than thinking that what he wants is what everyone else does (or should) want. Best thing to do is ignore him and let him run to some Android forum and bug them instead...

By most do you mean an extremely ultra small percentage? Even if I were exaggerate and say there are 10,000 threads about people that switch and bragged about it that's still a drop in the bucket.

Plus android forums have the same threads but vice versa.

I really wish Macrumors would ban accounts like his to help cut down on the trolling.

EDIT: To clarify "his" being the OP not gmccloud.

I wish MacRumors has a sub section for these Android discussion so people would just post it there. Or rename this section to smartphone rather than iPhone.

Apple didn't force you to do squat. Grow some balls; learn to take responsibility for your own decisions and actions instead of laying false blame on others.

Oh ok so when this forum suddenly has hundreds of users posting about their new device that they were forced to purchase you won't mind and live and let them live?
l. All I really need is email and weather and I'm set...to each their own.

But we don't need a thread for every person's "own".

Simply stop reading all these threads. Skip them if you don't like them. No point in coming in and moaning....it makes you worse than the guy that is moaning about the product!

You just gave me your opinion about android...just like the thread starter did lol  aahhh the irony.

Hating? If you think the above reply is hating you need to get out into real world. You clearly missed me telling him to enjoy his new phone but leave out the "I have an announcement" crap, as well as post a video of his new phone in action since all he submitted was a photo of both phones ... switched off.

Now leave it.

Yes hating, i'm not asking for real world top of the line, worst hate that exists! Its still hating. Like I said above, don't read these threads if you don't like them. I for one enjoy coming onto a apple forum and reading everything here. I don't need to be a member of 10 forums!
