Prove it.Nice qualifier. 'Doesn't sell your data for storage'
But their cosy default search arrangement with Google is just basically selling iOS user data for a fee however you want to dress it up.

Does Apple prevent anyone from changing their default? Do they make it so one has to change it when one gets a new device? I have not had Google as my search engine for years, despite Google paying for the default position. Why do you think Google pay that fee?
Or, at the very least, a bit more than the obscene free 5GB tier. Something along the lines of 10–25 GB.Well, that's steep considering we should be getting 50GB for free.
Because it is not free. It is a trade off of money vs. data mining, vs. time to implement an alternative. If you are do not care about selling your data for so little money that it your right, as long as you understand the choice you are making.
Google does mine your data and does not offer you unlimited storage, as you are willing to pay them and still have your data mined.
I think you are claiming that Apple is mining my iCloud and mail data. If so, please provide some evidence of this.
Glad that you do not care about quality. Others do.
I choose to not get ads at all.
Most user will use Google search anyway and majority of user does not change default.Does Apple prevent anyone from changing their default? I brought 1TB D-RAMlesd SSD for 30$. Not bad for storage devicesHow about upping that crappy 5GB of free storage to 25GB and double the capacity of the paid tiers. Capacities are a bloody joke in 2023 when you can buy a physical 1TB NVMe SSD for under £40!
Idk what you’re referring to, but through work I paid $70 a year and got 5-seats each with their own 1TB of storage, each with up to 5 devices using Microsoft 365.Another reason why I haven't nor will I ever pay for iCloud. What a joke of a service. 100gb of OneDrive storage is bundled with the $20 a year Microsoft Office 365 subscription.

The storage alone is a steal. Office is just an added perk.
Cause people have this twisted sense that everything should be free to them![]()

5GB is a joke in 2023. It should be 5GB per device. Preferably 10.
Short dates on the beer kegs in 'spoons, thats how they get the price down.Yes, puts it in perspective. One can get a good pint in a 'spoons for £1.50.
It’s not about what they want (more profits) but their way of do it.And here I was, thinking this trillion-dollar company was my close friend, and then it turns out they're just in it for the money? What next, is it going to come out that other huge corporations aren't just trying to turn a profit? Sad days.
