Apple will announce its aquisition of Microsoft.
I hope you meant aquisition AND liquidation of Microsoft.
Apple will announce its aquisition of Microsoft.
It's true -- this is rare. It's either a huge miscalculation for them to hype it up this much or they're really going to blow expectations out of the water.
So no news tomorrow regarding Yosemite, Mac Mini (or any macs for that matter) or AppleTV???
It's hard to imagine the possibility that any other event on earth can match the importance of what will be unveiled tomorrow. The world will stop for these announcements.
One question, not that it applies to me as I can watch it fine.
But, it still puzzles me, as, on the face of it, it appears like Apple behaving like a child.
Why does it restrict the even to those with Apple computers and/or running safari?
Why not just stream it in the clear for everyone?
Is there a reason, other then being petty?
Can you imagine say Microsoft not steaming an even to people with Apple computer and only windows users running Internet Explorer.
I'm curious.
"Live video from out special event will be right here. And so will a whole lot more."
But what does it mean?!
Wow.. Just read that.
"The auditorium is crawling with 24-hour security personnel. Anyone working at the massive show, from caterers to construction staff and technicians, is required to submit their phones to Apples security team. The phones cameras are being covered in special tamper-proof tape, which changes color if removal is attempted.
If it changes color, well be fired on the spot, said one person who is working at the show but asked to remain anonymous.
In addition, Apple security personnel are carefully scrutinizing the phones for unauthorized pictures or messages, looking for any attempts to communicate details of the event to the outside.
We were told that we should erase anything embarrassing from our phones because security will be going through them with a fine-tooth comb, the person said."
Well now you can go.
Someone obviously rates their comedic value rather too highly...
Suspense - it's kind of the whole point that they don't tell you - not sure if you got that?
Has anyone ever watched an Apple keynote on LTE? Wonder how much data it would eat up, and if the audio would at least be smooth. Have a meeting until 10am PDT, and want to watch on my Apple TV afterwards, but would love to catch the audio during my drive home instead of starting from the beginning 20 minutes late... Particularly since the beginning part is going to be nothing new for at least the first 10 mintues.
Anyone else nervous about how much hype there is? Seems like the hype machine is in full effect.
Apple's clock is five seconds slower than MacRumors' clock.
I am... My prayer is that what they present measures up to this unprecedented buzz and hype.
If they do it will be an unforgettable historic day.
I hope this hype and buzz has been deliberately and justifiably planned by apple. Or it may work against them.
They are getting into Farming... Oranges, Strawberries, Watermelons, peaches, Pears....
one more thing...
"Behaving like a child" - what, you mean because they're sensible by not wasting time, money and resources trying to test their streams on every conceivable platform and/or device known to mankind? That's not childish, that's common sense - they want to sell Apple products, and they aren't OBLIGED to stream on non-Apple products... or have I missed something?
Deal with it, and watch it on iTunes/elsewhere, after the fact.
