I hope the Apple TV channel appears soon. Last time, I realized about 15 minutes before the keynote that I need to update my Apple TV, and then the update took about an hour, probably due to server overload.

Yea, I just hope my Apple shares don't crash by 10% because Tim Cook doesn't fart out golden eggs while on stage before introducing the aliens who will fly in from Alpha Centauri to bring the iWatch, accompanied by a three-headed Steve Jobs clone, riding on a unicorn dragon which spews fire that cures cancer and turns tree leaves into bacon.

Best comment ever:D

Working from home Thursday this week due to staffing, but I will be back before 5pm, with beer in hand, and a phone call to a pizza place not far away.

7pm would be better though, so I have extra time to get the lube ready.

Wait... What?!

That pizza and beer isn't going to sit will with HealthKit.

That font look perfect for time-keeping. When you fully consider what "0" through "9" should look like in an ideal state, defined by forces working beneath the Planck scale and beyond infinity, Jon Ive nails it.

One question, not that it applies to me as I can watch it fine.

But, it still puzzles me, as, on the face of it, it appears like Apple behaving like a child.

Why does it restrict the even to those with Apple computers running Safari?

Why not just stream it in the clear for everyone?

Is there a reason, other then being childish and petty?

Can you imagine say Microsoft only streaming to PC's running Internet Explorer?

I'm curious.

It's quite logical really. Only so many people can be on the stream before it crashes, so Apple needs to limit the audience somehow. Given that there's an upper limit to people who can view it, how would you select your audience if you were in that position? Limit it to people on your services because that's your core audience. Id rather exclude PC users who are "meh" on my brand in order ensure that the true fans are satisfied. Trying to satisfy everyone satisfies no one.

Businesses purposefully limit their audience all the time so that their resources aren't overwhelmed. Think Nigerian prince schemes made to sound ridiculous as a way to exclude anyone even remotely internet savvy from wasting the scammer's time. It's related to the economic concept called Adverse Selection.

Throwing money at my screen already

It's not even so much of a joke for me. Apple could just put up the ordering page right now, and I would order the 4.7" iPhone 6 in space grey with 64 Gig without even checking any of the features, because from all the rumors so far, I know that I want it. Any additional features that it might have are just icing on the cake. And I do suspect that Apple still has some iOS 8 tricks up their sleeve specifically targeted towards the iPhone 6. It's usually the case. So there's probably more to like than what we know so far.

And no, I am not one of the 0.5% who will be upset if it turns out that the lines will really be there, and the camera will really protrude.

I don't know why people are saying apple has hyped it up.... they gave sent invitations and show a count down on thier page. Hardly massive hype.

The hype seems to come from places like mac rumors.

I am already readying myself for 'the flood of 'dissapointing' and 'underwhelming' comments.

I don't remember a countdown on Apple.com for any of the other keynotes.

Ancient Chinese Proverb:

Man with one watch knows what time it is.
Man with two watches is never sure.

From my computer, the Apple clock is now a few seconds faster.

I feel like an idiot for only now figuring it out... Tomorrow Apple is rolling out the iRipInTheTimeSpaceContinuim. Tomorrow they roll out time travel. And their web site is the beta.

It's staring us right in the face.

Is this event seem like an unusually big deal for Apple? It seems like it, I don’t know Apple history to a T but I don’t remember this much preparation and attention given to an event.

"Live video from our special event will be right here. And so will a whole lot more."

A whole lot more what? What?? The product line-up after the event? Documents proving who really killed Kennedy? The alien autopsy protocols from Area 51? A message from Jimmy Hoffa? The original handwritten constitution of West Dakota? A video of Phil Schiller swimming up Niagara Falls?

What? What could live up to this hype? A *********g whole lot more of what? For *******'s sake, Apple! If you guys disappoint me tomorrow, I will never be excited for anything ever again (or at least not for the next couple of days or so).
