I hope the Apple TV channel appears soon. Last time, I realized about 15 minutes before the keynote that I need to update my Apple TV, and then the update took about an hour, probably due to server overload.
Yea, I just hope my Apple shares don't crash by 10% because Tim Cook doesn't fart out golden eggs while on stage before introducing the aliens who will fly in from Alpha Centauri to bring the iWatch, accompanied by a three-headed Steve Jobs clone, riding on a unicorn dragon which spews fire that cures cancer and turns tree leaves into bacon.
Working from home Thursday this week due to staffing, but I will be back before 5pm, with beer in hand, and a phone call to a pizza place not far away.
7pm would be better though, so I have extra time to get the lube ready.
Wait... What?!![]()
Nope, you're wrong, MR - it doesn't redirect at all.
One question, not that it applies to me as I can watch it fine.
But, it still puzzles me, as, on the face of it, it appears like Apple behaving like a child.
Why does it restrict the even to those with Apple computers running Safari?
Why not just stream it in the clear for everyone?
Is there a reason, other then being childish and petty?
Can you imagine say Microsoft only streaming to PC's running Internet Explorer?
I'm curious.
Throwing money at my screen already
Hi,
I don't post on here often but the hype is well and truly with me in the UK. Just hope work goes quick tomorrow so get to see event just after I finish work![]()
I don't know why people are saying apple has hyped it up.... they gave sent invitations and show a count down on thier page. Hardly massive hype.
The hype seems to come from places like mac rumors.
I am already readying myself for 'the flood of 'dissapointing' and 'underwhelming' comments.
Reload your browser pages. They are synced up for me.
Or, create your own: http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/create
Ancient Chinese Proverb:
Man with one watch knows what time it is.
Man with two watches is never sure.
From my computer, the Apple clock is now a few seconds faster.
I feel like an idiot for only now figuring it out... Tomorrow Apple is rolling out the iRipInTheTimeSpaceContinuim. Tomorrow they roll out time travel. And their web site is the beta.
It's staring us right in the face.
I don't remember a countdown on Apple.com for any of the other keynotes.
This is NOT going to be an hour long keynote.
My guess is 2 hours. 10AM to 12 Noon.
As I noted before, and I will say it again...
My genitals are ready

This one had me in tears....
Well then FOUR hours !!
There !!

Isn't it usually two hours, or close to it? I believe last years was about an hour and a half, and the keynote for the iPhone 5 was about 1:55.
Please read the whole thread.
