Strange. Here is mine

Nov. 12: Sent in my request for a box
Nov. 21: Box arrived
Nov. 23: Apple received my nano, identified the issue, and authorized service

Repair status is still pending. Oh well, I can wait :)

update: Replacement 6 Gen Nano shipped today

Well it took almost a month for them to send me the box. I signed up on November 19th. I received the first week of December, and sent it back the next day. They received it on December 15.

Wonder when I will receive mine.

Hope to have it before I leave for CES. It will be convenient for the flight. No Alex Baldwin!

Nov. 21: Apple received my nano, identified the issue, and authorized service
Dec. 23: Replacement product shipped

Can't wait to get my new watch!

That's what confuses me. They received yours after mine, and I'm still showing pending,

Looks like my replacement was shipped out today. 6th gen, not 1st gen :(

I'll give the little bugger a shot for running.

Here's my timeline:

November 22, 2011: Product Received
November 23, 2011: Issue ID'd
November 23, 2011: Product Replacement Pending
December 23, 2011: Replacement Product Shipped

Is it being shipped by UPS or FedEx?

I guess today was a big ship day. My 6th gen shipped today too.

December 13, 2011: Product Received
December 13, 2011: Issue ID'd
December 13, 2011: Product Replacement Pending
December 23, 2011: Replacement Product Shipped

I registered on November 12, and received shipping box in 10 days. However I did not get around to sending the nano in till two weeks later.

My warranty shows good till December 22, 2012.

How do you track the status on the returned ipod? I cant find it on my apple account..

You will receive an email notification, after your Nano has been replaced, detailing the serial number and tracking information.

I just got my replacement 6th Gen (current) nano in the mail. Two thoughts:
1) This is really awesome, it is newer, has some nice new features and I can make an awesome watch thing.
2) I understand people's thoughts on the form factor and loss of the click and scroll wheel. I will miss this as my 1st gen nano had become my "work" player and was used a lot for mowing the lawn and working around the yard. Losing these buttons will be different.

But IF you are upset and it is too much for you to bare then just sell the new nano and buy and old 2nd gen and walk away with an extra $50.

No need to complain, alhough I understand your reason.

got mine yesterday. It was my cousins 18th birthday and I ended up re-gifting it. He was as happy as one can be. I really wanted to keep it, the battery on my watch just died. But I figured most kids who's birthday is around Christmas usually get chumped gift wise.

I received an email from Apple stating they shipped my replacement unit which is a iPod Nano 6G (I looked up the serial number). I should have it the 28th via FedEx.

Checked Serial on Apple support, and replacement is 6th gen.

Also in regards to some of the comments in the last 9 pages.
My iPod Nano worked fine, it was not "Beat up nor scratched up" My Nano was a day one purchase I drove an hour each way to pick up at the Apple store. Though there was some surface scuffs (from wiping with microfiber) as the very first models where prone to easy scratching, and no cases where available to purchase for quit some time. My iPod has always run hot, especially on recharging, but I figured all this time was just nature of the beast.

Finally got notification that my iPod nano replacement has shipped. It is indeed a 6th gen model. I think they are finally shipping replacements in Canada!

I think you're right. Apple got mine on the 22nd and I got a shipping notice today. Checking apples servers for the serial number shows a 6th gen with some sort of warranty until december 25 2012. Now, to choose a watchband...

P.S. I live in BC, Canada so apple is indeed shipping to Canadians now

Huh, when I looked up the serial there sending me, and going to "Your Service and Support coverage" mine says

"Repairs and Service Coverage: Expired
Our records indicate that your product is not covered for hardware repairs and service based on the estimated expiration date. You may be able to pay for the repair you need through an Apple-authorized technician.
"

The original email from November 12, 2011 said
"Your replacement iPod product is warranted to be free from defects for 90 days from the date of service."

Mine originally said warranty till December 2012, but just checked and it now shows the same as yours. I suspect everyones will do likewise.

My 6G nano is on it's way via FedEx. When I check the serial number, it says the warranty has expired. But, hey, it's a new ipod just the same! :D

Been watching this forum story with interest to see what we might receive here in the UK. The status hadn't changed since 18th Nov 2011 as of last night, but low and behold... early this morning a UPS van turns up with a silver 6G 8GB Nano :) ....

6G Nano just came a non-descript cardboard box with some foam (not the proper box), no iPod instructions, cable etc

I'm happy :D

I've been waiting exactly 6 weeks and a iPod Nano 6th Gen has turned up with 90 days warranty.

I'm in the UK

From the uk, been 'product replacement pending' for a while now. The missus just informed me a 6th gen just dropped through the door....happy days! Don't rely on your online status too much. I've been waiting for the 'dispatched notice' but I never saw that. Cheers Apple, well happy :D
