They really should go back to a 2 year cycle. I’m still waiting for a reason to upgrade from Catalina. This is not it.

That's what I've been saying for awhile. I'll stay with macOS 12 for awhile.

Wow, I hate both the name and wallpaper, and Apple usually does those two well! Now all I'm gonna think about when I update is Jim Carey and how the wallpaper literally looks like the generic and old iPad wallpaper.

And thinking about it...the Stage Manager looks SOOO much like the overview GNOME 3 had. And that was over 10 years ago.

All of the features Apple introduced have already existed. I've seen many features on Android phones years ago, for example.
When I told about those things on this forum people criticised me, because they're for 'children' and you don't really need such features.

Exactly. Monterey supported 2013 as the oldest model; Ventura, 2017. Dire difference right there, huh?

I think i saw it was 2017+ device only.

Still wish that Apple would rewrite everything from the ground up with Swift and SwiftUI. Start with the frameworks, then the OS as a whole, then the apps. And make SwiftUI a full-fledged thing, and not just a cover for UIKit
