Unity from Apple? Hilarious. They are gifting the Trump Regime with gifts and admiration and now they want to sell us a band for Unity? What a joke and a slap to people faces. 4 people have been murdered already and Apple is peddling Unity bands while bowing to Trump and his Regime...

Yep. I really wish someone with influence in the community would organize an economic strike—e.g., no purchases of Apple products/services or from the App Store in February.

I'm so sick of this type of double standard nonsense that suggests anyone that's white and wants to celebrate their own culture is a racist or bigot.

Apple, an American company, has never made an accessory that signaled American pride... but regularly panders to LGBT and Africans.

Wrong, of course: https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2021...tional-collection-bands-show-love-of-country/

Also, "LGBT and Africans" are American, undoubtedly to your chagrin. And "American pride" is quite a bit different than "white pride," which is a verbatim Nazi and KKK slogan.

Kinda bland tbh. I don’t like these wallpapers too, not because it is a Unity symbol but because it looks sort of boring. But I do get that some people are buying these for association reasons. I think Apple could have tried and did much better with this color scheme

Don't really pay attention to what Apple associates stuff with because no matter what they are just after the profit and social justice points. I don't expect them to actually CARE about any peoples or movements.

Yep. I don't think this was true under Steve but it's very clearly the situation under Tim—no values or morals whatsoever that won't be shed to make even $1 more profit.

Bravo…well said. The virtue signaling from him is so transparent, and has really affected my admiration of this once great company. I truly do understand that corporations need to make profits and grow their value. I’m not naïve, but surely there has to be a balance with being a good human being and member of society. He has jumped that shark all in the name of the Almighty dollar. I can’t wait for him to leave and hope sincerely that the next CEO will be able to regain that vital balance.

How about a red white and blue one?

I don't know if Apple specifically makes "European" swag, but there are all kids of companies that make accessories that have Italian, British, Nordic, German, etc.. swag that folks in the US can purchase to celebrate their European ancestry. Who can forget the "Kiss me I'm Polish" t-shirts and bummer stickers. Anyway, I don't remember a big backlash or double standard about people representing and celebrating their European heritage.

February is Black History Month. Because of the horrific manner in which black people were brought to America, it is more appropriate to have a band that is generic for the continent of Africa rather than specific to countries, which have been altered by colonization over the last couple of hundred years.

Anyway, I have no problem with these bands. Personally, I prefer a single solid bold color rather than multiple colors, but that's just because I am old and boring.

I get your point, and I really do not like the way Tim and other CEOs are bending a knee to this President. However, I think Apple has been making unity bands for black history months for many years. If they were to suddenly stop making the unity bands, I think folks would accuse them of further kowtowing to this Administration. So, it's kind of a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation.
