Apple Introduces New MagSafe Cases and Accessories for iPhone 12

I hope the MagSafe cases have an opening at the bottom to allow the phones to be charged with a lightning cable - for those who do not opt for wireless charging. Unlike the previous Apple cases for iPhones, the MagSafe cases seem to be fully cover the bottom edge of the phone.

I wonder how many cards the MagSafe Wallet can hold? Or did I miss that part in the story? The only way I'd want one of those would be if it could hold my driver's license, one ATM/debit card, one credit card, and at least a little cash. But then again, that would probably make the whole thing too thick for my iPhone. Guess I'm going to have to go with one of the silicone cases.
Of course, in the future, it sure would be nice if they could digitize your driver's license and if all retailers and restaurants would accept Apple Pay. Then there'd be no need for an external MagSafe Wallet! That's the future I'm looking for...when I can finally throw away my wallet, my keychain, and my key fob for my car. The only thing I want in my pocket is my iPhone!!

I agree about what is nice to go in there - I have a LifeCase one that does it all on the 11 Pro.
License, credit card, insurance card, cash. Don't really need much else.

Did they really discontinue the leather cases?
This case held up better than the official leather case for me, so I hope they bring out a replacement. Also 1/3 of the price. 😄
as long as they bring one out for the 12 mini, I’ll be ordering a new one!

Why is the clear case so fugly? They could've at least offered it in black as well as white. The white looks horrid and stands out on the other colors. And why is there no leather case?

The MagSafe credit card holder for the phones is specially shielded to prevent that from happening.

Might go naked for the first time since the 6 soap bar introduction in 2014.

Magnetic strip for swipe payments has been pretty much obsolete in Europe for over a decade.
This cases and wallets are very much a rip off of the MagBak product line. I’ve used their products for the last year and love the concept. Incredibly happy to see this use case be adopted by Apple in general.
