Apple Invites Media to 'Notebook' Event October 14th

Want to watch the event

Hi! First time posting.
I know someone has posted it here, but I can't find it again... what are the best sites for live coverage of the event on Tuesday? Suggestions?
Thanks! And glad I registered so I can stop talking to the computer screen and actually respond to posts. :p
 
As the keynote will be at 11pm (my country time).. i'll try my best to avoid it and watch the Keynote Video after i come back from school the next day :)

So I'm guessing you live in Pakistan, Kazakhstan or in that general area.

The media event where I live is at 4:00 AM, the day after.....

I might get up....

It's at that time for me too. I'm getting up :D Is the keynote starting at 4 for us or should it be over by that time? I'm in QLD

In QLD... where you don't have daylight savings, because oh no, your curtains are going to lose their colour, and the roosters are going to be confused (just kidding) :D :p

It's going to be an hour earlier for you - 3:00. Ha! :D

People can check what the time the keynote is in their city here.
 
Trust me, better to get up. I did for Macworld for 3 years. For the iPhone event I decided to get up whenever and watch it spoiler free. Big mistake. It feels like eternity and you feel like just going to the Apple website, but then you think "ah but I've waited this long, might as well keep waiting" :p
You get the full story if you watch the keynote though.

I think it's basically either get up whenever and look it up on the website, OR get up early and watch the live blogs. Watch the keynote later, unless your time zone puts it exactly on waking hours (maybe NZ?). :)

Christmas Islands Time - 7:00 AM

Oh my goodness, A macrumors Member in PK, Is it just me or is that rather rare, Apparently Lahore has an Apple reseller but im not certain that theres anywhere in Islamabad that sells mac,


Oh yeh, i have a lecture that finishes just as the keynote starts, I cant wait, Thing is will Apple stores have them in stock by the end of the keynote, it takes me an hour to get to my nearest Apple store and i have to be back on campus by 9pm

If im right to assume you were bron and grw up in the UK? Well your like me so you should have heard the word "Skiving" or "bunking" at earliest, in secondary school?

ur right..very rare.. i live in KHI, and there are places selling Mac's, but if i am to get one i'll ask some of my relatives in the US to buy and get me one.. That's how i got my iPhone :D

When is the event shown for eastern standard time? I don't want to miss it. :confused:
