Anything Apple can provide you will be at least as expensive as what you get now...also live sports needs to be sorted properly first, and globally, meaning the big European soccer leagues, Formula One, WRC, etc.


Hmmm...no it wouldn't - 512GB of the latest PCIe SSD storage (or Nand Flash for that matter) is about the size of my two thumbnails, and not much thicker. Are you thinking of old 2.5" or 1.8" spinning disk drives??

Depends on what I want, doesn't it? And I would rather give my money to Apple than Comcast. Apple has never jerked me around like Comcast has. Couldn't care less about sports. Right now I'm paying $230/mo for tv and internet. When I dump Comcast, I'll switch to much faster internet with another company for about $75. The rest of the money, hopefully not all of it, will be distributed to whatever TV offers.

Yep, we only see significant leaks from products that are manufactured and assembled in many many factories. The supply chains of the smaller volume and less complex products are far easier to control.

Hey kids. Please remember that if Apple is going to have apps on the Apple TV there will be a Apple TV OS SDK unless
it's just a full fledged IOS on the Apple TV and I haven't seen any references to that in Beta builds.
So.

Apple will announce the SDK which means Apple probably has some apps ready for it along with a few select valued developers but it will be at least 2 more months before the OS sees it's full potential.
