I thought that yesterday as well, but they need a wow feature. UNLESS, she/he/it/they is coming to Apple TV?

Why is the US date format the wrong way round? It really makes in sense. Not in descending or ascending or order of significance...

Yet the US Military use the correct format dd/mm/yy and Visas and passports use it too.

You say dates "December Ninth Twenty Fifteen" BUT the most important day "Forth of July"

Bah! Don't get me started on US Weights and Measurements. Feet+Inches! Miles! Ounces and Pounds!

iPhone 6S in various colours (same as recent ipod refresh) dropping the c (cheap) Siri coming to all Apple devices. including messages.

Why do you care - is it because you feel more judged as a person not by who you are but by what labels you own? I would say the very fact you referenced Microsoft and Samsung says you do.

I was watching a programme just last night which explored the ridiculous amount of debt people get themselves into simply to have the "right label" on their phone or on their clothes.

What came through loud and clear was that in the end it didn't make them happy at all. I couldn't help thinking how sad for these individuals - a real shame.
 
asked Cortana on my Windows 10 machine and it just told me "I'll need quite a few upgrades before I can do that."

Confirmed: Cortana thinks Siri is better than it now. lol.
 
You guys have it all wrong! Siri said she can give a hint of LIME. That means that Apple will be releasing the ultimate mojito or margarita recipe, one that is so simple, well designed, and the best created cocktail to join the family of Apple products today.

How weird was it that CNN sent out a breaking news headline for this. In case you needed any more evidence those two companies were in bed together...
 
I wasn't going to dig through 23 posts to see if this was covered, but my take on the invite is that it's a hint to force touch, with the leaf being a stylized finger.

I'm hoping for the announcement of an App Store for the Apple TV, specifically games. With proper Mfi gamepad and iOS device support, it'll have a chance to pull off what the Ouya developers could only dream off.

Yup, earlier I caught the last part of a segment on CNBC 'announcing' the upcoming event. I don't know who they're expert on tech guest speaker was but she said besides the new iPhone the iPad Pro was also to be announced.

Hmmm, we'll see.

iPhone yes, iPad Pro no, iPads are usually announced in October. This has been confirmed by a number of people so unless they are wrong I wouldn't expect to see it at the September event.
