See, I told you I can have a normal discussion. I only act like this in the news forum anyway. I don't mess around in the other forums. To me, this is like the off topic section that most every forum has and just about anything goes.
Wow, 21 pages of speculation on what "1" means...

I doubt it. Remember this will also be the launch of iOS 5 with iCloud with iTunes. According to Apple, there will not be a need to store that much data on your device since you can get any particular track you want anytime through iCloud....well unless you have AT&T. I think they will rev the iPod Touch this time. but they will add an ear speaker like the phone. It's the next step to a VOIP iPod Touch.Please, oh please! let the touch have 128GB, that's all I ask.

Well I hope you're wrong. I doubt that the cloud will stream Apple Lossless. And even the best mp3's have compression artifacts in the background, especially obvious in quality headphones.
Also, my iPod touch already has a speaker, not an "ear speaker" but it makes a great pocket radio.

I think I have some proof that this next iPhone will be an internal update, rather than an entirely new-looking model. Here's a link to a story where an analyst met with Apple folks and came away with the distinct impression that Apple will be focusing on software-driven product cycles rather than refreshing the hardware every year.

I tend to trust their guesswork over the guesswork of message board posters and gossip sites because at least they have access.
