We already asked you to back up your statement with evidence. You don't. You won't ever going to win an argument with those statements. We need facts. That's how people argue.
He provided plenty. Actually if you did any research at all you could see this in 5 minutes. Islam does not get left somewhere when people travel to other countries it goes with them.

I'm not sure if this is serious or not. Women in some Islamic countries who get RAPED get sent to prison for "adultury". It's insane.

Agreed, now.

I bet in the 19th century that would have happened in Christian Europe and America.

Make no mistake about it: regardless of the opinions of the Trump administration, he and his cronies are on the wrong side of history. The wheels of progress continue to turn.

its not about banning all immigrants, its about banning illegal immigrants and terrorists
How many times do we have to try something ineffective before conservatives realize their uninformed policies just don't work?

Google it. I have read it in a news paper.

Which newspaper?

Yes, and my Christian heritage goes with me when I travel to other countries. So what?
Should I be condemned because my church conducted the inquisition, supported the Nazis, was hiding cases of pedophilia?

Not seeing your point. A very wealthy Syrian used his power and wealth to do his Doctorate in the US. While in the States, he met Jobs' mother and got her pregnant.

What does any of that have to do with the Syrian refugee crisis? Or are you being racist and saying any Syrian who visits America is the same thing? Did you just mention it because his father was Syrian and you're basically saying one Syrian is the same as any other?
From what I have read, he wasn't conceived here, he was conceived in his fathers country.

"Of all the inventions of humans, the computer is going to rank near or at the top as history unfolds and we look back. It is the most awesome tool that we have ever invented. I feel incredibly lucky to be at exactly the right place in Silicon Valley, at exactly the right time, historically, where this invention has taken form."

Schieble became pregnant in 1954 when she and Jandali spent the summer with his family in Homs, Syria. Jandali has stated that he "was very much in love with Joanne ... but sadly, her father was a tyrant, and forbade her to marry me, as I was from Syria. "

Mate, you go talk to a few women for a while, I think you'll find that misogyny is a problem regardless of skin colour or which particular wizard in the sky you subscribe too.

Let's see, here we have a "feminist" prime minister and a female premier. We recently changed our national anthem to be gender neutral. If anything, the pendulum favours women a bit here today. The women I know who were born here are pretty happy with their treatment.

I'm pretty sure the Quran doesn't start "Chapter 1: Treat your women badly", followed by "Chapter 2: have you got your woman under control yet? deride her some more her".

Well you have Chapter 2 right. "Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will..."

I could quote half the Quran here, so you really don't seem to understand your point of view. Mohammed passed out women like party favours as sex slaves to his friends. He said they're like dogs and asses (meaning property). Most women are in hell, the only ones in heaven are the virgins to serve the men. There's a lot more I just read, it really is disgusting and offensive I actually feel pretty sick having read the passages. And Tim Cook who claims to be for women's rights wants to bring more of them into the country.

Also, in Googling that, I found a nice reply for Eraserhead "The move to paint Islam as a pioneering force in women's rights is a recent one, corresponding with the efforts of Muslim apologists (not otherwise known for their feminist leanings) and some Western academics prone to interpreting history according to personal preference. In truth, the Islamic religious community has never exhibited an interest in expanding opportunities for women beyond the family role."

I thought lack of equality was what you were slamming Muslims for.

You know the bible says that unborn children are the property of the father?

It seems like you're right about that. But he did meet her in the US while doing his doctorate and she was his TA, and then he got her pregnant. So I wasn't wrong either.

You know the bible says that unborn children are the property of the father?

Once again, that's really comparable to what the Quran says?

And you're still continuing to twist things. The poster I was replying to was saying there's nothing in the Quran about the treatment of women. Clearly he's wrong.

What really matters is what's happening today. And they treat the Quran like unconditional law while few Christians today treat people as property.

Have you or your church been responsible in any recent explosions or trucks being driven into crowds of people? It is stupid to believe in nonsense that has no evidence what so ever, but christianity is basically benign at this point. Islam not so much as we all know. or do you want me to point you to every suicide bombing case?

Yes. The bible is rampantly sexist. That is merely the tip of the iceberg.

And again...so women being bought and sold as sexual slaves, beaten for being out along in public, and murdered for not obeying their owner is in any way comparable to the inequality that you say exists in the Western world?

Yes. The bible is rampantly sexist. That is merely the tip of the iceberg.

And still. A sexist bible most people don't follow is comparable to 1.6 billion people actively following a book that orders them to enslave, torture, and murder women.

I know muslims who drink alcohol. So no, they don't all follow the book to the letter.

I really don't see why we are discussing this, we agree on the Middle East in the present day, you are just wanting to paint with a far broader brush than that.

Please tell me are you having fun here or you are really so ignorant?

ALL RELIGION IS EVIL.

I personally realised that when I was 7.

I believe in reason and scientific method, not stupid books written by peasants that knew less then the stupidest person living today.

And why are you talking like one of us is christian? I have no interest in revelation.

Misleading since the ban isn't against all immigration. I haven't heard Trump say he was against immigration. My understanding is the EO temporarily restricts just visits from those in select countries the Obama administration determined were at a higher risk of terrorists possibly coming from into the US.

Because they no longer subscribe to that nonsense ergo they are no longer muslims. I know few myself and they are grateful they were able to escape that nonsense.

Neither is the islamic church as an institution responsible for that. Just people who are claiming to follow true islam (they aren't) in order to justify their political agenda / mental disturbances. Just like the guy in toronto last week that opened fire on a muslim mosque. Does he represent what Trump thinks (he is a trump supporter)? Does he represent Christian religion?

Some hard data on mass-shooting by muslim and non-muslim groups: http://econbrowser.com/archives/201...-religion-of-perpetrator-muslim-vs-non-muslim

Because they no longer subscribe to that nonsense ergo they are no longer muslims. I know few myself and what they are grateful they were able to escape that nonsense.

So, to you, muslim is synonym to that? That's a very racist and misinformed conception of the islam religion. Nough said
