When Apple can double the iPod storage for $50, why can't they do the same on the iPhone? Why do you have to pay $100 to get the next level of storage on the phone?

I think this shows their hand a bit for the fall. There will be an updated 4-inch phone. Why only do it for the iPod touch?
It's a real shame we can't even get 32 GB on the base model iPhone in 2015.
With an A8 chip pushing less pixels (4 inch screen). This is even more powerful than the iPhone 6....nice!
Though I never owned one, I always loved the iPod Touch. Looks very nice! Strange not to include TouchID though!
The A8 is a pleasant surprise. I guess the only possible fly in the ointment would be only 1GB of RAM which may be an issue by next year. The exclusion of TouchID is also questionable. Makes you wonder if Apple is using the 6th gen iPod touch as a test to gauge demand for a future model to be released next year.

Back when they existed, Android had a few media players that also had GPS. You get GPS on Android tablets too without getting 4G/LTE, etc. service variants.
It does 120fps slo-mo rather than the iPhones 6 240 so yes its the iPad air 2/iPhone 5S camera. Still this is a very very powerful update for a great price. Im tempted...just because!

I thought exactly the same. A pink iPhone would be so ugly.
And this new darker space grey is really nice.
I'm seriously thinking about skipping the ginormous 4.7" iPhones and just get the new iPod touch with a mobile hotspot plan.

If one day they start integrating a game center in the ipod touch with apple tv, so your ipod touch works as a controller, I will buy one within a heartbeat.
For now I wait on the update of the ipad mini.

What? The camera? It's been like that on the iPod touch for a couple generations now.

nothing changed there.. unless I'm missing something?
YES me as well. I'm thinking of keeping my 5 to forward texts and be a hotspot for one of these (when the 5 no longer supports the latest version of iOS).
