I quite enjoy my pair when I workout. My only thing with them is theres a delay that makes watching videos impossible while other BT headphones have no issue.
New color; Same bad headphones.
I have a feeling that half the people in this thread are missing the fact that this article is about wireless earphones. Otherwise, I don't quite get why people keep suggesting "superiour" wired earphones.Just buy Sennheisers IE80's and thank me later.
Let me first say I used to be dead set against Beats without giving them a fair chance. The two things I've learned since the release of Apple music after reading all of the comments on these tech blogs are (1) how cheap most of you avid tech followers are and (2) how little tech people know about music. I tried all these headphones (Sennheisser, AKG, Beyerdynamic, and a bunch of other junk) these little YouTube nubbers said were the best, and they sucked. Don't know about the Powerbeats, but I got Beats Pro and they blew this crap away... Best sound separation I've experienced from a headphone. Maybe it's these little teeny boppers or 20 something justifying junk because it has a cheap price tag to make themselves feel better about not being able to afford better equipment...The point of beats isn't that they're de facto bad headphones, but that other brands offer same or better quality for less money. Sennheiser, AKG, Beyerdynamic...

I own the Bluebuds X and I love the sound (only phone calls with them sound like you are speaking through a ten foot cardboard tube). Many people say they are the best wireless option, sound-wise. My main complaint is that they don't stay in my ears, and it seems many people have that problem. I had to buy soft earplug-type tips to be able to use them, and now they are "ok". But they'd never stay in throughout a workout session or while running. That's why I have been considering switching to the Powerbeats2.I'll stick with my Bluebuds X, but I won't judge the Beats unless I've used them.
It's nice to see a black pair without that horrible red logo but I think I'll stick to my plan of waiting for apple to redesign these.

I think I will go to a bicycle shop now where I will walk up to people, telling them that I know a car that is much better than the bicycle they are about to buy. I want to see if people think that is bizarre or normal behaviour.
Really? I didn't think it could get worse. And I thought those over-ear "hooks" would help as well. Those little patent-pending "wings" on the Bluebuds don't do anything. They are a complete placebo.I couldn't keep the Bluebuds in either, however the Powerbeats 2 wireless were worse.
The Apple earbuds don't work for my ears at all. I put them in, they fall out. That's it. I find it funny how Apple went on about how they measured so many people's ear canals to design them.I've been relegated to a pair of Polk ultrafit 3000's (or Bose SoundSports) that stay in well, or the newer Apple ear buds, or, when traveling, my Bose over-the-ear ones. So far, no wireless ones fit and stay in.![]()
No no no. It's plenty obvious you don't know a thing about marketing. Now while I don't....and won't ever buy a pair of Beats ANYTHING in regards to headphones, the fact is the name "Beats By Dre" and the "b" symbol on the headphone cups is iconic and the type of consumers that buy these types of headphones relate to the Beats iconic symbol. Even people that don't know much about "Beats" have seen kids and sports figures wearing those headphones and recognize the "b" on the ear cup.Apple really need to decide what they want Beats products to be. It's too confusing. Should we consider all Beats branded products to in fact be Apple products and are Apple happy enough with the quality of them to lend them that name? Apple should put their logo on all of Beats' products if they want it to be absolutely clear.
This may be rather off topic, but does anyone else think Tim Cook should take more control over Apple, If I didn't follow Apple I wouldn't know he was the CEO.
And the day Apple starts selling straight trash to people has come.

The day that Bose releases the QuietComfort 20i Noise Cancelling earbuds in a blue-tooth version is the day I spend $250-$300 for earbuds. I have these and several other Bose headphones and they are the best.
You want the best wired earbuds, get the QC20i otherwise my recommendation would be these beats or the BlueBuds since they are cheaper.
But do consumers really need to know who the CEO is of the companies they patronize? Think about it, how many CEO's do you really know? I don't know the Macy's CEO, Walmart CEO, Target CEO, Bed Bath and Beyond, Williams Sonoma, Sur La Table, Bose, Samsung, Nike or Adidas CEO's. Unless you're an investor or a day trader it's not really important for anyone to know who the CEO is of a company. They're not rock stars. This may be rather off topic, but does anyone else think Tim Cook should take more control over Apple, If I didn't follow Apple I wouldn't know he was the CEO.
