While I agree with the hate on the studios vs audiophile headphones these are in a different space.

For Bluetooth headphones these sound pretty good, and they are only a minor premium over other competitors from Bose and such.

I personally like my Motorola s11 flex hd headphones, but you look like a total dork wearing them. These at least are stylish, and can be worn somewhere besides the gym.

While I agree that Beats headphones are pretty damn terrible consumer products, Bose headphones aren't that great either. Sennheiser, AKG, Audio-Technica, those make good cans. The HD598/M50x, for example, are both excellent studio monitors.

Also Koss pro4aat are really good ones too. but those require more power from the source then most headphones

Reason why I buy the two year protection from Beat Buy whenever I buy Beats. Never had to return any brand as many times as I have Beats headphones. Best Buy gives me a new pair every time.

So Apple bought a company that financially rules the luxury headphone market, incorporated its 2 core members who have decades of music experience as well as connections all over the world, yet their making a big mistake? Yeah ok.
If those ugly headphones are the best that all that money, experience and connections can conjur up (more colors?), then yes, someone is making a big mistake.

So you're saying they don't know how to make a successful product because their product is the most successful?

Cool story bro.

no one said they are ugly, we're saying they're way overpriced for the performance.

if they sold for $99 or $129 then that would be fine, but not 200

Apple should be thankful they make the iPhone and iPad. Everything else in their lineup is crap.

really? have you actually owned an iMac or a good Macbook Pro either 15 or 13 with retina. those are really the best computers for consumers. i've had my iMac for about 1 1/2 years and i've had zero problems and its been great. i've spent more on other windows laptops like sony and dell and they've died after a few years or got random viruses for no reason

They don't offer it on Beats any more. As for the Powerbeats 2 Wireless: they sound decent, they work great for calls, they seem to stay in place for me better than others I have tried. I'd say they did an overall nice job making something that is actually good, vs. the crappy Beats Solos and others that seem to crumble from usage.

EDIT: Actually it is fixed! I had no idea there was a firmware update (1.1.1) that fixes this. Just did it, working like a charm.

Right you are! I just checked and I'm running v1.1.11 and the sync issue is fixed.

The problem with Beats by Dre headphones (and a lot of Apple products as well) is that someone needs to pay for their huge marketing budget, and it's you. Beats focuses less on audio quality and more on aesthetics and name recognition, which is why they drop huge amounts of money to run ads and convince celebrities to wear their headphones out in public.
The difference between Apple and Monster Beats over the years is Apple puts out a quality product, so you're not just paying for their marketing budget.

Color me disapointed that they didn't offer a silver or gold plated Bling Edition covered in Swarovski Crystals.

Why not try another brand instead of having problems over and over?

Harmon kardon Infinum. Work great and in ear buds retract into around-neck unit. Excellent in every way.

They are nice. But not meant for training. Casual day? Absolutely. If you work out though, powerbeats all day

Exactly. But Apple is dumb right and supposedly they don't know how to do business lol

They are wireless earphones and all I see in the pictures is wires.
Oh... It's the connection between the wires that's wireless.
Stupid me.

Kickstarter idea: wireless cable extender

Stupid you is correct. The wire is what connects between the two headphones for power, sound, radio, etc.
