Possibly, but who's to say that new iPhone won't have more problems like scratches or dead pixels? I've had a lot of issues in the past.
Thanks for sharing that piece of non news.My phone is eligible for this, but I don't have any problems with my camera and I don't want them to scratch or damage my phone while repairing it.
Who knows. My photos didn't look like that. The photo in the article looks more like a motion blur from moving too much while taking the photo. My camera literally had a Gaussian blur when it was blurry (~50% of the time when opening the camera app). My fix? Just knock the phone slightly on something hard (knuckles, desk, etc.) which always fixed the issue. The common suspicion is that the optical image stabilization feature was somehow interfering with auto-focus.Macrumors just takes someone's photo off of Apples support forum and reposts?
So what you are saying is that it's ok to ship junk as long as they fix it at some stage down the line, and hopefully don't just tell you that erm, I don't know... Holding it wrong..Well, these issues are evident on any phone. The difference is Apple will fix the issue.
I bought my first MacBook last year for school because I knew if I ever had any problems I could just mail it in to Apple versus an Asus laptop that if ever wavered I'd have to send overseas.
Right? And major news organizations take tweets and use them as quotes in stories, too. Welcome to the brave new world of #journalism.Macrumors just takes someone's photo off of Apples support forum and reposts?
I suspect pretty much anyone who bought an iPhone 6 Plus between these months is eligible. It's always a "small number affected," because the number of units sold between September 2014 and January 2015 IS small compared to the rest of the year - as a percentage. Let me go check my phone...
Yep, eligible to be fixed. No surprise. I suspect this "small number" is many, MANY millions of iPhone 6 Plus units.
The 5 had the battery and the power button, 6 had the moving front cam, 6 plus iSight, when will this stop ?
If they scratched or damaged your phone, (which they wont. They are trained professionals) they would replace it for free.My phone is eligible for this, but I don't have any problems with my camera and I don't want them to scratch or damage my phone while repairing it.
The serial number you entered is not eligible under this program because either:
- It’s not in the affected serial number range.
When do these affected people got their phones? I got mine in December.
Batches? That means your batch isn't affected. I guess certain September 2014 to January 2015 batches

Not just the SG models, and not just the 6 either. My space grey 6 Plus is starting to show a crescent on the camera and so is my father's silver 6.+1 for the iPhone 6 front facing camera sliding out of position #crescentgate. Apple should recall the iPhone 6 in space gray as it's clearly a widespread issue. Mine has it, several of my friends, and there are numerous forums online with users experiencing the issue.
