Ahh.. Perhaps because you can't actually BUY the Mac Pro yet is the reason they're not promoting it with Logic.... I wouldn't read much into it past that simple point.
They want to sell both products they should be promoting the heck out of them especially since audio production has been a Mac Pro staple.
The new Mac Pro isn't a product you can purchase yet.... On the other hand, you can walk into a store and buy an iMac today.
They show the iMac screen because it's also a DISPLAY. Those crying about no Mac Pro love, you want them to show the exact display next to that tower in every pic?
Really? Wow I was holding onto my Logic Studio 8 just so I still had all the jam packs, £140 really is a bargain!

You have no idea how complex his arrangements/environments are.
But assuming that Logic X (first release) is bug-free when opening ALL older projects is laughable.
v9 states it can open v6 and newer, but vX can open v5? I guess all those aftermarket 32bit plugins will simply be crossed out.

Are you listening through a ghetto blaster connected via mono mini jack to rca's or summink? This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read in these forums. Seriously. A significant portion of the worlds music is created within Logic.

On a more serious note: I'm curious how well the FCPX integration works - how does it handle audio in compound or multicam clips? Main storyline vs. attached clips?

The poor dithering of Logic is a well known and widely discussed subject among (really) professional audio engineers... Google is your friend.
