Apple Launches MobileMe and Apple TV 2.1

I cannot login. MobileMe says my logindetails are wrong. Is that maybe just a problem in europe?
 
OK, I am logged in, but when I go to .mac system preferences, it gives me an error trying to pull up my account details. so, can't update my system yet.

bmk - good points all. It is now 16 hours past the maintenance schedule. The fact that it keeps going up - then down - then up - then down suggests that they still do not understand what is wrong or how to fix it. All of this should have been sorted in the test environment.

In a way I'm glad that this is happening - that the pressure is building on their end. That should teach them a lesson NOT to wait until the last minute to do such major upgrades.
I'm getting upset now. Not at the fact that MobileMe is down, but at the lack of acknowledgement from Apple's side. :mad:
FFS - The MobileMe page doesn't say ANYTHING about the service not working correctly.
The .Mac page says "maintenance" but for how long?
FIX IT!
 
You have to have a credit card for a free trial? Wtf is this? It never asked for a credit card when I signed up for a .Mac trial. Wtf Apple. :mad:
 
Just went up! Was looking at account settings, then bam! New mail indicator on the mail icon in Safari.


Oh, I also found this weird: when I was on a 60 day trial for .mac, I only got 100 MB.

But with this transition, it seems that even though I'm on a trial, they upgraded to 20 GB? Is this true for new users or did I find a bug? Sweet!
 
Working for me - consistently..! :-D

I bet there are some very tired apple employees who worked for a very loooong time.

Those who were on the .mac trial, get bumped to the mobile me specs. More space :)

me.com is running for me at the moment, but mac.com reroute doesn't, nor does mobileme.
 
Yep, it looks like the WebApps are now up and the services are working, but it still doesn't seem possible to log into MobileMe through System Preferences. Shouldn't be too long now though.
 
I can login at me.com, but if I try to login from my mac, I get a error message

"Your MobileMe member name or password may be invalid. Please enter a different name or password."
 
I am sorry for my earlier tone. Looks like it is up for like 10 mins for me now and is stable. Here's hoping they got it right. Again the interface is real nice.
 
All I see when I log in is the top level of my iDisk and that's it.

I can't click on anything, can't log out, can't see any of the web apps.

In System Preferences it still won't let me log in.

MobileMe is definitely NOT up and running.

Give it a second. Mine took a second to load initially, but after that, everything has been fine.

Same here. I tried a sync but it won't go at the mo because of the above, although my data is there carried over from .Mac
