My longtime friend, who is Jewish (and has a Holocaust-murdered uncle) got me to see the media lies in 2016 and we voted for that orange voldemort guy in 2016. Best ballot I ever cast. We voted the same this time around.

So, Jews were slaves in the past, and very recently suffered genocide. Where are their handouts?

"We wanted to see more Black and brown developers," Jackson said – unbelievable.
At least the atrocities committed against the Jews are acknowledged.
Black people continue to be gaslighted on a daily basis.

Appreciate you looking out for your own interests though. Good thing for the rest of the world that the Orange guy has been booted out.

We will never be able to move forward when people label and shut people down for have diff opinions, there is nothing wrong in saying all races are equal by law and stuff like this just gives Black privilege a higher statement, more and more companies are hiring people based on religion race and sexuality than skill set which is wrong this doesn’t help the race problems it makes it worse, white men feel they are being pushed to the side and like I said there’s nothing wrong with saying black white brown green are all equal in today’s society. I would even say people of colour have a higher privilege nowadays because everyone has to prove they’re not racist
Is there a group more prone to fall into maudlin self-pity than the angry white man whose multigenerational power bluff has been called?

Middle Easterns
Is this not slightly racist in its own right though? Middle Easterns is quite a sweeping category of different people and ethnic/religious groups. You have the Iranians which are classified as white by some and still speak the language they did 3,000 years ago, you have the Israelis who are majority Jews, you have various subgroups of Arabs, Syriacs, Assyrians, Turks, Kurds, etc. Perhaps this is a direct quote from Trump but at face value it seems to be nonetheless the same. Be Careful when arguing these points.

They can't actually do whatever they want with their money. There's a lot of legal and fiscal responsibilities, maximize shareholder return for example. Not saying they can't do this, it's a PR stunt. But to say they can do whatever they wish is not correct.
Of course it’s a PR thing. Apple does stuff to sell products so if they think this will attract customers they’re going to do it. I don’t think there’s nothing wrong with that. I’m sure they have limits on what they can do in the sense of shareholders will intervene if it’s something that could cause the company to go under or something.

If your black or brown let me ask you would you rather get a job based on your skill set or based on your skin colour to prove the company is inclusive?
I’d like to get an interview and not walk in wondering if my color or my gender is a threat.
My skills should speak for itself.
The fact you literally think black privilege is a thing is the main reason why this country will never move forward.
You do realize any ‘privilege’ blacks have as you so put it only came about because white people were perfectly fine with segregation and not allowing blacks to vote until they had no choice but to give us that right.
I’m American. Born here and it’s hard to imagine at one time less than 100 years or so ago, I wouldn’t have been able to vote.

my parents are white. I’m dark skin black. It’s hard to imagine less than 50 years ago, my parents wouldn’t have been able to adopt me. I date white men. It was just taboo 20 years ago to date interacially

lol I said this above. But it fits here again so I’ll repeat.
You mention laws from 1800s-1900s. You do realize that we are following a constitution and electoral system established hundreds years ago.

Your logic makes zero sense.
You do realize during segregation times people were being lynched. Those very same people who grew up in those times are still alive and they have families and many of them raised them with the same hate they were born with.

false reports against black people all last year? A young black child attacked by a woman just a few weeks Ago.
are you really going to sit here and try and blame black lives matters for that?

but America doesn’t have a race issue.

Black men and women not being able to get jobs as easily despite being qualified.
As a black woman, I have to make sure I don’t sound too “ghetto” or raise my voice as to not appear like the angry black woman stereotype?

but America doesn’t have a race issue?

black women have a higher mortality rate during pregnancy because they lack the resources and education of resources because our government wants to regulate women’s body and take away funding for low income family?

But America doesn’t have a race issue?

its systematic because we see how America reacted to a black president. Even now in 2021, Michelle Obama is said to look like an ape. She doesn’t. She doesn’t look like melania.

Trumps majority base are full of racist. This is a man who referred to Mexicans as rapists. This is a man who literally has labeled Middle Easterns as terrorist.
This is a man that millions voted for.

but America doesn’t have a race issue?
And all these issues are present.
Your move to try and find a point.
Indeed.

Wasn't that long ago, so I ask - where did all those klansman uniforms disappear to?

Racism is alive and well in America.

I was told the other day by a white guy im less attractive when I wear my hear naturally curly than when I straighten it.

I am not sure what that has to do with anything. People are attracted to different things. That said, I am not sure why someone felt the need to make sure you knew – that they – didn't like your hairstyle.

No it isn’t. Thanks for playing though.
It is quite simple to see that it is, you (understandably) are not aware of the complication of the layers of ethnicities in the Middle East that lead some to be allies and some to be enemies in the views of even the most racist. Not enough teaching is done on this which is in large part responsible for the grave misunderstanding of the Middle Eastern situation in the last 105 years. When the British didn't know what the hell Faisal was talking about, to the Americans not understanding the Jewish question properly, the West's ignorance on this subject has endangered the population, for we are the ones who divided them in such haphazardly measures.

Right? It is not a bad thing that Apple will be giving coding and learning opportunities to neighborhoods/communities that MIGHT not have gotten the chance otherwise, orrrr at the least do not have coding and learning opportunities *at the moment*.
Are you this supportive when Nike opens a new factory?

Because I appear less like a black woman when my hair is perfectly straight vs my naturally curly hair.
Unfortunately as someone who dates white men, he isn’t the first but I am sexy regardless nor do I really need or want a mans validation so his like most men’s opinions, is irrelevant.

I wore my hair natural most of 2020 because I was in lockdown and saw no reason to straighten my hair.
I do tend to get my attention when I look/dress more like a white woman than a black woman. Unless, the guy wants to fetishize me and literally seeks me out because I am black. Which is a whole nother issue.

welcome to being a black woman in America.

Wrong. Nationality DOES NOT = Race.

Clearly any person who does not live in a country can have a pretty good idea of the politics and real life situation of that country. Unless they choose to bury their head in the sand, or has prejudged the person voicing their own opinion.

!= means is not equal to.

some nerd you are 😅

but thank you for confirming my point.
