The md5 sum of both the GM developer release and the final release I've just downloaded match.
In other words, they're identical, regardless of the version numbers being reported.
Code:md5 /Users/r-sparks/Desktop/InstallESD.dmg MD5 (/Users/r-sparks/Desktop/InstallESD.dmg) = b5d3753c62bfb69866e94dca9336a44a md5 /Applications/Install\ Mac\ OS\ X\ Lion.app/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg MD5 (/Applications/Install Mac OS X Lion.app/Contents/SharedSupport/InstallESD.dmg) = b5d3753c62bfb69866e94dca9336a44a

This article references a flash drive that Apple will start selling next month:
Has anybody seen this elsewhere? They seem to be the only ones making that statement (that I can find, anyway)

Okay, I finished download Lion, but after my MacBook restarted it now seems to be stuck on the Install screen. It's been at About 33 minutes for the last 10 minutes.
No idea what to do. Advice needed please!

From the Press Release
Anyone with a Synology Diskstation NAS needs to update their diskstation software to the beta version of 3.2. 10.7 will not work properly without that update (no AFP, Time Machine, etc). You can get info on it here: http://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?f=116&t=39197
Easier solution, hold down the option key and click on the go window and library appears.
If you want a more permanent solution, use these in terminal.
Show Library chflags nohidden ~/Library/
Hide Library chflags hidden ~/Library/
