Quick/dumb question:

If I have a MBP and my mother has one also, do I have to purchase this twice to have it on both computers?

If you use the same Apple ID at the App Store, the first download will cost $29.99, the second one will be at no charge.

Says installed but it's not! o_O

Uh what the heck?????!!!!!!

I want to buy Lion on the App store and it says INSTALLED...

Trust me folks... IT IS NOT installed on my MacBook Pro. o_O

What's going on???

Anyone Else having this strange problem?

My first "oh no" moment in Lion. Installed on my Air (and iMac) this morning.

Up and running. Question: I used to be able to swipe to the left on the trackpad to go back a web page. This no longer works in Lion for me.

Please tell me I don't have to navigate the cursor to the back arrow in the top left corner of Safari to go back a page.....

Can anyone help?

Or you could just use the delete key (backspace) like everyone did before we had gestures.

Can you fix the link? Thx

I am at 1 hour 30 minutes remaining, 1.19 GB of 3.74 GB

Finished downloading a few minutes ago. It took just under 30 minutes total. Am burning install disc now.
Gonna burn 2 - you never know...

I'm on a slow wi-fi connection and have 1 gig done, 2.74 gig left. Estimated remaining time is 1 hour 17 minutes.

I'm about a third of the way through and my download speed is spiking and falling so much, but it's coming slowly but surely.

I'm at 1.45GB with 70 minutes to go.

A single page in this thread yields 5 posts of utter nonsense. This thread is now 30 pages long, so a quick analysis says 150 of these posts are from yahoos telling us that they are downloading this update.

Anyone else notice Lion takes up more memory? On snow leopard after a full startup i would sit around 290MB active memory. now on Lion after a startup it shows around 440MB active memory.

iTunes 10.5 beta and iOS 5 beta 3

i have these betas in Snow Leopard, any problem upgrading to OS X lion?

any help appreciated. on the fence to wait for 10.7.x or go and grab it now.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but I installed the GM previously, redeemed my up-to-date code, and the App Store just shows Lion as "Installed" under "Purchased." Edit: Now it's downloading.

While I understand why Apple swapped the direction of two finger scrolling, I've spent all morning coping with the change. It really messes with your mind. Eventually I'll get used to it.

Anybody else stuck in this finger-twister?

First thing I did was switch it off. :D

Can't get mission control to launch with a two button click though

Is Lion even worth installing on my 2007 C2D MacBook?

I just sold my 2007 C2D MacBook, which is at the bottom of the required specs for 10.7.

If I had kept it, I would have upgraded it.

If you do it, I strongly recommend three or four GBs of RAM. Although Apple says that 2GB is the max for the 2007 C2D MacBook, it will accept up to 4GB.

The more RAM, the better.

Problems redeeming content code

Is anyone else having problems with the up-to-date page not finding your serial number?

Does anyone know if you can copy the install file to an external hdd instead of a dvd as I want to install on another mac but don't want to have to go through the download again?

Im not wanting to to a fresh install if that helps answer?
