Love the scrolling but 1Password is not working. 1Password goes to the correct website but will not enter data. Also when I click on "solver" in the launch pad it starts Office Excel and I get an error message saying solver quit unexpectedly.

Any other bugs????

My first "oh no" moment in Lion. Installed on my Air (and iMac) this morning.

Up and running. Question: I used to be able to swipe to the left on the trackpad to go back a web page. This no longer works in Lion for me.

Please tell me I don't have to navigate the cursor to the back arrow in the top left corner of Safari to go back a page.....

Can anyone help?

2 or 4 finger swipe.

You will need to update to the latest version of 1Password.

Yahoo News coverage of Lion launch

Overseen on Yahoo! News. Those from the Windows XP side know that old operating systems die hard, but I've never heard of one reacting quite so badly to being EOL-ed.

Says installed bit it isn't!

Anyone else experiencing that the AppStore says that Lion is installed and yet it isn't? So You can't download it!?!?!?

Help???:(

Yeah, me too. I really want to see if there are many general issue and what the compatibility of existing apps is. I've got CS3 and don't want to upgrade just for a new system. Also a lot of other smaller apps I can't live without - Audacity, Audio Hijack Pro, Bullet FTP, etc.

Look forward to peoples reports.

I've already gotten an email from Nova development that I'm going to have to upgrade my Parallels 5 to Parallels 6 due to compatability issues. There's another $40 (for their special upgrade price) for me to tack onto the cost of Lion, *if* I decide to update.

Clean install

I have created a bootable install DVD from the installESD.dmg file contained in the Mac OS X installer. But how do i completely delete all my files and do a fresh install from the DVD?

A single page in this thread yields 5 posts of utter nonsense. This thread is now 30 pages long, so a quick analysis says 150 of these posts are from yahoos telling us that they are downloading this update.

TRY TWITTER, NOBODY HERE GIVES A RAT'S BEHIND.

I started the download this morning before I left for work. Just thought you would like to know! :D

Will there be a list of bugs posted somewhere over the next few days, as they're discovered by the poor people who didn't realize they were buying a beta? :p

I'm waiting until at least 10.7.2.

Got my money back

Hello Robert,

Rhonda, here from the iTunes Store. I have just finished reading your request and I want to let you know that I am here to help. I understand that you were charged three times for the new OS X Lion and you are also having issues downloading it . When it comes to your money, I can certainly appreciate how important it is to feel that you are treated fairly, and I would be more than happy to help you out with this today.

I'm sorry to learn that this item did not meet the standard of quality you have come to expect from the Mac App Store. I have submitted this item for investigation. Apple takes the quality of the items offered on the Mac App Store seriously and will investigate the issue with this item. Although, my suspicion is that because it was just released, the server is over whelmed. Please try again shortly.

In five to seven business days, a credit of £55.98 should be posted to your Visa and £113.45 to your Amex that appears on the receipt for that purchase.

I also checked the purchases and the only item purchased on 07/16/2011 was a $15.00 Gift Certificate. The OS X Lion's were all purchased on 07/20/2011.

Robert, I want to thank you for choosing the iTunes Store and for being such a big part of the iTunes family.

Please don't hesitate to contact me back if you require further assistance with this issue. If you reply directly to this email, your response will come straight to me.

Thank you for contacting iTunes Store Customer Support. Have a great day.

Sincerely,

Rhonda

Nope. Mine is showing. Has been from the start. 2010 MacBook Air here

Well I was obviously exaggerating a tad, most of the people here are posting that they're having an issue ;). The lady I spoke to at Apple mentioned it's more likely to happen with Thunderbolt iMacs & Thunderbolt MacBook Pros, but that's not the only products it's limited to. I hope they fix this bug quickly...

I agree. I was wanting to buy/download/install today however I'm worried about applications not working correctly. I think I'll wait a month or so and let the software developers update so Lion is supported.

Can you run dual boot of Mac OS X with Lion? So I can keep my existing Snow Leopard and restart to boot Lion for testing?

welcome to macrumors, apple just LOVES getting your cc detail even if you do not purchase anything, it is standard practice.... go through with the details and try to download Lion, IF you do get charged for it and should not have been, you can query it afterwards...

you'll be OK
