Hmm what is it with this stalled download. First person I seen having exact same issue as me.. I have deleted the install 10 times and started again. It always stalls at 53.25 MB
Error 100 Fix
FOR ALL PEOPLE WITH APP STORE ERROR 100. QUIT THE APP STORE. LOG OUT. REBOOT YOUR MAC AND LOG IN TO APP STORE AGAIN.

Mountain Lion upto date program is not working
Hi just wanted to share my experience of the Mountain Lion upto date program. Basically I bought a macbook retina within the period which qualifies me to claim Mountain Lion for free. I made the claim today following the above instructions. I got my content code pdf email and a seperate email for the password to that pdf (the pdf is password protected).
This revealed the content code so i went to quick links in the App store and tried to redeem the code but it told me that "This code has already been used. Each code may only be used once". Naturally disappointed I rang apple and they still cant get to the bottom of this. Very frustrating.
In addition to this I also have an Imac which qualifies for the Mountain Lion upto date program therefore I made the claim for this too. This time I had a different problem I got sent the content code pdf file email but the password email to that pdf was blank.
Seems like this whole upto date program is a shambles, come on Apple sort this out this is very poor customer service.

I'm not sure I understand all the complaints - the software was released on the App Store at 6AM US Pacific time (i.e., less than two hours ago). For the first hour (or so), there were some capacity / logistics issues, but now downloading well pretty much everywhere in the world. I'd call that an incredibly successful launch.
A week's worth of errors, broken downloads, etc.? Problem. One hour? Not.

Heads up for the people who intend to burn the InstallESD.dmg to a DVD. You need a dual layer DVD, its to big for a regular one

You can burn the image to a USB Stick and boot from that instead, that's what I've done in the past with Lion.
Already did that. Nothing in Purchases and still displaying $19.99 on the Mountain Lion page.

Ahh so it was all working nicely, then it changed. Changed to this..

Finally finished backing up my HDD. I went to go download ML, and 3 updates popped up in MAS. Keynote, iPhoto and iMovie. I'm waiting for iPhoto's massive 1.02GB update to download. And it's taking awhile.
Did anyone else have to do this as well? How big was the iMovie update??? Because right now it's showing as "waiting".

Btw, what worked for me was quitting the app store and deleting the caches folder at ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore

Yes, I have iPhoto, iMovie, and Keynote updates queued as well. None of them have started, so I don't see the sizes.

I assume so. I mean, it is the same build.
I submitted my claim at about 6:30am PDT, and yes, I am still waiting for my email.
