Brought my MBP into work today, connected via ethernet to the gigabit network with a 50Down/20Up connection... currently downloading at 6.1MB/s

Started the download 15 mins ago and already at 3.34Gb out of 4.34... weeeee!

I submitted my claim at about 6:30am PDT, and yes, I am still waiting for my email.

Phew thought I was the only one. Must have a lot to go through. although i submitted mine basically as soon as the page was up.

Guys its about 20 mins download on fibre optic broadband but you may find it slow at start and then i speeds up! Very high demand at the moment as had to keep clicking on download now round about 10-15 time until it started! comment for more details as i have nearly finished downloading.

I'm in Australia with a similar connection.

It doesn't fix Error 100.

It seems that the Mac App Store is hardly working now. My iPhoto and iMovie updates are not downloading at all, a 1.35GB download requires 4 hours now. So I'd suggest to download it later today or tomorrow.

When you look in the "Purchased" tab, it says 4.34GB, but when you look in the app description it says 4.05GB

The size in the app description is in base 2 and the size in the Purchased tab is in base 10.

Go to MacUpdate and search for “Lion DiskMaker”.

yes it's the 2012 model but on the aus up to date program it says from june 11th, i even check the us store and it says june 11th, a bit confused cause i havn't received my claim code yet

Am in same boat. Just read on Apple Insider that if you got your code prematurely, it may not be valid, cust serv is aware & will automatically issue new codes within 24-48 hrs.

Option click on the installer and drag it to the desktop.

OK, not bad, once the download starts, it goes quite fast. Mine first download is finished and ready to install. About 15 min on VDSL2 / 30Mbs

I picked my MBA up at Best Buy and was not asked to upload a proof of purchase. I received the code right away. Haven't tried downloading it yet. I'm waiting until I get home tonight.

4340000000 bytes, and depending on whether you use 1024^3 or 1000^3 as your conversion rate it comes to 4.34 or 4.05.

I have that same connection at home and I never get those speeds from the App store or iTunes. News groups are fine.
