Apple Launches OS X Mountain Lion via Mac App Store for $19.99

14 mins down, 14 mins to go on the installer timer. I can't wait for it to complete. The download itself wasn't too bad :)
 
downloading in the uk. I did download all the updates that are there for Lion
 
as you have it from the MAS

when you restore the Install.dmg file with DU you will get an error at the end DO NOT PANIC just pull the usb stick and put it bak in it will be OK the error has been there since DP2
 
Gonna go home and download. I am interested to see how the integration with my iOS apps will work. May keep me on the iphone wagon for another year
 
Alright, new development, my download gets to 53.25 MB before stopping and the time goes to calculating, my download speed goes from 800-900KB/s to 0....
Tried deleting and retrying three times but it still does it.... any ideas?

Remember: your download speed depends on your ISP, condition of the line, what kind of service you have, and so on. Don't complain about the download speed without telling us what you are usually getting.

I'm on a low-end DSL line from AT&T: 5.0mbps optimum. I'm usually just under that, but it depends on where in the house I'm at relative to the Airport base or Time Machine wireless extension. It's cheap, though. Only $20/month.

2 hours plus to download the OS.

will it eventually say "purchased" if we already had the GM? Or should i go ahead an spend the $20 to be on the safe side for future updates?

Yes. It’s the biggest mess I ever experienced with Apple. I can’t input my required phone number correctly because it’s another format (US). The confirmation page showed up that my home country is USA (I filled in Austria). Had to upload a screenshot (!!!) of my PDF bill (the first time it didn’t work, had to do it a second time and fill out all previous forms once more). Waiting since two hours for an email.

WHAT IS THE BUILD NUMBER?

Everyone wants to know if it's the same as the GM version that was released to developers (12A269) last week.

(plus it would probably free up a lot of bandwidth from people re-downloading the same code from Apple)

It asks me for a ZIP code but I put my canadian postal, then before I submitted it listed US under my address info. Also have been waiting 2 hours.
