These kinds of posts always amaze me: of course you're keeping the 6 Plus! If after just one year, they came out with a new version of anything that was so much better than the previous version that many people wanted to upgrade there would be screams from the masses. People would claim that they had the ability to produce the better version last year, but designed immediate obsolescence.

The fact is that you can't expect technology to improve so drastically in so short a time frame, especially now that we've come to the end of Moore's law for important parts of the computer.
Reason I say this is so many people actually have the 6 Plus and think it's worth upgrading. So I don't know how clear it is.

What's wrong with 16gb? That's what they have the cloud for.........
For me, 16gb means everything goes to the cloud.

Wow, what great phones! I'll be upgrading my 6 to either the 6s or the 6splus....
hmmmm not sure what what the naysayers are complaining about..
I want the best phone in the world..so Im upgrading to the new iPhone..
then i'll upgrade to the 7 when that comes out..
Apple, you knocked it out of the park again!

Girlfriend won't let me buy a "pink iPhone" so probably going with either silver or gold. Probably down sizing to the 6s. 6 Plus has been nice, but maybe a little too big for a phone.

I think you need a new girlfriend more than you need a new phone.

The iPhone 6 (which is the one I'd want since the 6+ is too big with all the bezels) is still only 750p, still doesn't have OIS and still is only f/2.2 with no mention of ram, if it's a tri core or battery size...

It's so disappointing, all they've done that is new is the pressure touch, which tbh I don't care about since most of those gestures they showed have been done without it on other platforms.

Not impressed and I still don't get why they insist on making it so thin that a 1/3 sensor needs a camera bump :\ Bit pathetic.

I'm going to save my money, if Windows Phone offers nothing compelling this year, I'll just get an LG G4 or something, it'll probably be £280 by November any ways, much cheaper than the £620 a 64GB iPhone 6 would cost.

w/r to the f2.2 lens. There really isn't going to be all that much difference between F2.2, F2.0 and F1.8. It's about 1/3rd of a stop difference. The difference in light collection is negligable, the difference is depth of field is also negligable. An f2.2 lens is also likely to be smaller, lighter, sharper than an F1.8 lens. It's really not something to get caught up about.

Regardless, without knowing the size of the sensor, the iPhone 6S f2.2 lens may capture more light than the competitions f2.0 and f1.8 lenses anyway. I'd be interested to know what the T-stop of these lenses is relative to their marketed F rating.

I love Tim Cook's quote of " truly the most advanced iPhone" as opposed to what? I would hope it would be better than the last iPhone. Tim needs to bring the goods to gain some market share.

The one chance I've got to use my Verizon EDGE gimmicky upgrade that no longer exists. I'm all in, 6s Plus. Now... gold or gray, gray or gold???

Shame that the base model is still 16 GB, but the A9, 12 MP camera, and 3D Touch sound pretty sweet. I think I'll skip this generation because I'm still loving iPhone 6 Plus, but pretty cool news nonetheless!

When does the iFixit tear downs begin. I need to know the amount of RAM before I preorder.
What does it really matter? The iPhone Six is blazing fast with the RAM it has. Its not that big a deal. They optimize it with software. Chill out. As for the guy wanted the black face with the gold, that'd look ugly... Get over it. Go get a job at Apple, then start complaining.
