Apple Leaks iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR Names on Apple.com Ahead of Official Announcement

Oh yeah, purple and orange Max Maxx Edition please!
I’ve been wondering this myself... I’m really hoping that the Max brings something so gamechanging that it warrants the name change.
Xs Max sounds like an Android phone you’d get at Verizon. And Xr? What the heck does that even mean? What’s the point of the ‘r’?
‘XR’ and ‘XS Max’ just sound crap! This is the best naming scheme one of if not the best marketing team of any corporation could come up with? Must have lost some good talent at Cupertino?
The board of Apple should fire the people in charge of naming things at marketing. This is terrible.
If true, I’m gonna call it iPhone Excess because that’s truly ridiculous.

But seriously, hopefully this is not true even true. Perhaps this some type of decoy to toy with the media, ect.
In a couple of years time Apple will be looking at the old Ford performance model names, XR2i, XR3i, XR4x4 etc 
And with another leak apparently the Watch sizes are 40mm and 44mm. Curious if these figures refer to the screen only or if the case is getting bigger as well? I have small wrists so will be bummed if the 38mm goes away. But I’ll really be p*ssed if current watch bands are no longer compatible.
yeah I’ll never understand why they just don’t go with iPhone, iPhone Pro, and iPhone Air

IMO, putting another letter after “X” will just further increase the amount of people that call it “ex” instead of “ten”.
When I see “iPhone Xr”, I don’t see “10r”.
And when I see XS, I of course see “extra small”. Very bizarre naming scheme.

I don't know what I dislike most, if it is XR or XS Max.
I'm totally fine with iPhone Xs, but why not Xs Plus and maybe Xc for the model with colors?
I'm curious about the yellow and coral models. Not going to buy them as I'm pretty sure I'll get a white model (and it might be the Xs).
By the way, I think the Xs will have the same price as the 8+ since it comes in 3 tiers and they'll be able to squeeze $200 more for the higher storage. Besides, many will go for the Max and Apple will make big moneys on that

Yes! Maybe not Air, but iPhone and iPhone Pro. The LCD phone could be the iPhone, and the OLEDs iPhone Pro. Yep, both sizes are the Pro, just like we’ve got a 15” and 13” MacBook Pro.
Or heck, just call them all the iPhone. Anything but these ridiculously long names.
Going forward if I replace my 7+, the only time I’d ever use the full iPhone name is in the store or calling AC. Otherwise, I would simply say, my iPhone.
